As noted, AJ Styles suffered an injury during his win over Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35.
AJ was seen at the airport on Monday and he was on his way back home to Georgia. A fan saw him and noted on Twitter that Styles was moving very slowly.
Security at Axxess on Monday told fans that Styles would be replaced by Kofi Kingston because Styles suffered an injury. Styles defeated Randy Orton on Sunday at WrestleMania 35.
On Tuesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Styles is dealing with a hip injury. It’s unknown how severe the injury is or if he will miss an extended period of time from the ring.
Styles will not be on SmackDown Live this week.
