Two Title Changes and Women's Tag Team Champions Crowned at WWE Elimination Chamber PPV

A lot of title changes took place at tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The Usos defeated Shane McMahon and The Miz to become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso are now four-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Miz and McMahon just won the titles back at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 27 by defeating The Bar.

The Usos ultimately won after capitalizing on a mistake by Miz, who went for a lazy cover after hitting Skull Crushing Finale. Jey rolled Miz up to reverse the pin, and ended up stealing the win, and sending the co-besties home empty handed.

Finn Balor defeated Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley in a 1-on-2 Handicap Match to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Balor pinned Rush to win the match.

This is Balor’s first run with the Intercontinental Title. Lashley won the title back on the January 14 RAW episode, defeating Seth Rollins and former champion Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat.

Balor ended up overcoming some early adversity and finally found an advantage after knocking Lashley off the apron. Balor then hit Rush with Slingblade and knocked both opponents onto the floor, following up with a dive over the ropes. He then rolled Rush back in and hit Coupe de Grace to win the title.

Lashley ended up picking Rush up and slamming him on the mat, showing his frustration over losing his title without even being pinned.

Also tonight, Sasha Banks and Bayley pinned Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose to best five other teams and win the bout becoming the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. You can read more details via WW.Com at this link.
