WWE RAW Results - October 8, 2018

We are live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, as Triple H makes his way to the ring, followed by Shawn Michaels.

Hunter says 25 years is a long time to climb a mountain, but you climbed that mountain because it is the biggest, baddest, most deadliest mountain in the world. You climb it step by step, inch by inch, year after year. They should both be standing on top of the world because last Saturday, they made it to the summit. The avalanche that fell on them after they made it to the top of the mountain makes them both wonder if that mountain was a lie the whole time.

We have footage from Super Show Down of the match between Triple H and Undertaker, as well as what happened after the match.

Hunter says respect is a word that has lost its significance as of late. It is not something that they give easily. It takes a lot to earn their respect. Like when someone you idolize takes you under your wing from day one to make you something more. Like when you spend your entire career fighting everyone and everything side by side and back to back, that is respect. Respect is when you stick to your word when everyone tells you not to and makes you ever opportunity not to do it, but you still stay to your word.

Shawn says you respect what you used to be and what they used to represent. Then it dawns on you that respect is no longer a two way street. Shawn says it is a long way between Melbourne and Chicago. It is a long time to think about the beat down they took. It is a long time to sit and think. You think about the last eight and a half years. Eight and a half years that he has sat there and honored his word out of respect. A respect that never existed at all. When those wheels touched down in Chicago, Shawn says he was going to walk off that plane but he heard those three words he thought Hunter would never say.

Hunter says ‘Are You Ready’. Hunter says the question is not for Shawn because he knows that he is ready. He says the question is for the Undertaker and Kane. Crown Jewel, the question is ARE YOU READY?

Shawn says that D-Generation X are ready. Kane and Undertaker, Shawn says he says this with no respect at all. If you are not down with that, they have two words for ya. The crowd finishes – suck it!
