WWE RAW Results - September 17, 2018

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined by Corey Graves and Renee Young.

– We go right to the ring and out comes WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to a mixed reaction. JoJo does the introduction.

Roman says last night was rough and brutal and did not go to plan like he wanted. He did wake up this morning as the Universal Champion. Brock had his rematch but he did not think that Brock would kick the door down and attack him when he was out. Roman says he is right here so if you want your rematch, come out right now.

Braun Strowman’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Braun says screw this crap, you should be thankful that Brock Lesnar showed up last night because that is the only reason you still have the Universal Title. That is the second time Brock has screwed him out of the title and there will not be a third. Braun says he wants Brock and then when he is done with Brock, he will come after Roman.

Baron Corbin comes out and he says they are not going to be doing this right here right now.

Baron says last night was his first pay per view as acting General Manager of Raw. Baron says no one is more upset about what happened than him. He has been on the phone with Stephanie all day to try to work on a solution to the problem. Baron says he has one that he thinks will make everyone happy. On November 2nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, live on the WWE Network, you will defend your Universal Title against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match.

Braun says he thinks that sucks. He says that Baron sucks. He says that Roman sucks. This whole situation sucks. Braun says that everyone in this arena sucks.

Paul Heyman appears on the stage and he is accompanied by the cell door. He says he is here to educate you. He mentions that his client laid waste to a monster and big dog and destroyed Hell in a Cell. Paul says he will teach you the economics called Brock-o-nomics. He says it is simplistic. The more you are worth and the bigger star you are, the more power you have, the more money you are worth in UFC. The more money you are worth in UFC, the more power you wield in UFC, the more money you can make in WWE. Nothing is more powerful than holding the Universal Championship.

Brock was the longest reigning Universal Champion and WWE signed television deals for billions of dollars and the stock went to new highs. That was until the monster and the big dog conspired to take the title from the Beast Incarnate.

That is why Brock Lesnar came back last night and why he will go to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to become the Universal Champion again where he can be the true Crown Jewel of WWE.

Braun Strowman goes up the ramp and follows Paul to the back.

Baron and Roman are still in the ring and Roman takes the mic from Baron. Baron takes the mic back and he says he doesn’t know what Roman is thinking. You may stand there like you are big and bad and he is privy to a few things, and one of them is the injury report. He knows that Roman is banged up. Don’t worry about the Triple Threat match because you might not be champion. You are going to defend the Universal Title tonight. It will be Roman Reigns versus Me.
