WWE Registers Nakamura Trademarks, Jim Ross Confirms Talks With College Football Player

– WWE has registered the trademarks for “Shinsuke Nakamura” and “King of Strong Style.” PWInsider.com notes that if there was any concern that WWE would try and change Shinsuke’s name or gimmick this should show that is not the case.


– Earlier this week it was noted that Baylor University tight end Laquan McGowan did an interview with SB Nation where he noted he had interest in persuing a pro wrestling career after his football one came to an end. Laquan is 6’7″ and 410 pounds.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has now confirmed that he has been in talks with McGowan for months about his potential WWE and NFL careers:
