According to Dave Meltzer, there is said to be a lot of concern within WWE right now regarding John Cena’s future with the company.
It’s being said that officials are concerned about how much Cena will be around in 2017 as he continues to receive outside offers for other projects. As we noted earlier, Cena recently ink another movie project and many more offers are being sent to the WWE Superstar.
We also noted that Cena wasn’t thrilled about the offers that the company has given to both Goldberg and Brock Lesnar to work limited schedules. While Cena makes slightly more money than the two, they don’t nearly work a quarter of the dates Cena does.
It should be interesting to see how things work out for Cena and WWE over the next couple of months. Cena is slated to make his WWE in-ring return at the end of this month.
It should be noted that as of this writing John Cena is not being advertised for the event by either the arena website or WWE. Elimination Chamber is the final WWE PPV event before WrestleMania 33.
