– Tonight, WWE will be broadcasting this week’s editions of Smackdown Live and 205 Live from The Toyota Center in Houston, TX.
Smackdown will be headlined by AJ Styles defending the WWE World Title against James Ellsworth and will also feature WWE TLC fallout with new Champions.
205 Live will be headlined by Rich Swann vs Brian Kendrick in a rematch for the WWE Cruiserweight Title.
The Undertaker was backstage for WWE Raw last night leading to speculation that he might also be backstage for WWE Smackdown tonight, and although an appearance is possible it has yet to be confirmed.
WA.Com will be providing complete, LIVE coverage of Smackdown Live beginning at 8pm followed immediately by 205 Live so be sure to join us for both events!
– WWE.com is hyping the following for WWE Smackdown tonight:
- Will Ellsworth win the WWE World Title?
- Did Natalya attack Nikki Bella at Survivor Series?
- Make way for SmackDown’s conquering new champions
- Sophia Grace accepts Nikki Bella’s invite to SmackDown LIVE
– As noted, AJ Styles was kept out of the ring for last night’s WWE live event in Tyler, Texas. Styles posted the following on Twitter hyping his WWE World Title match against James Ellsworth on Smackdown Live tonight, so it appears as if the bout is still on:
You don’t belong here, you don’t belong on #SDLive, you don’t DESERVE to share a ring with me…and after tonight, you won’t. #Phenomenal— AJStyles.Org (@AJStylesOrg) December 6, 2016
Dave Meltzer noted on WOR that Styles may have suffered the injury doing the springboard 450 to Dean Ambrose through the table at TLC.
