Five NXT Wrestlers Released – On Monday evening, Bryan Alvarez reported that there were several names from NXT that were released. The names have been confirmed today, via PWInsider.
The following names have been released by the company:
Bodhi Hayward. He had been seen in skits/vignettes with Andre Chase University. Duke Hudson took him out as a way to write him off TV.
Sloane Jacobs. The 19 year old previously wrestled as The Notorious Mimi on the independent scene before signing with NXT in March of 2022. She had worked on some NXT live events and in the Women’s Breakout Tournament.
Eric Yan, who last wrestled in September was also let go. She first appeared on NXT shows late last year.
Damaris Griffin, who was signed less than a year ago and appeared on NXT Level Up.
Ru Fend signed with WWE NXT last year and had been working as an enhancement talent.
