Bad Bunny is slated to be the lead actor in the upcoming film “El Muerto.” The El Muerto character is a character from the Marvel Universe that debuted in the sixth issue of the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man comic series.
El Murto originally fought Spider-Man in a charity wrestling match in which he nearly unmasked Spider-Man before being stung by Spider-Man with a paralyzing poison. They later teamed up to defeat Dorado.
At the CinemaCon, Bunny was introduced to the crowd by Sony Pictures President Sanford Panitch. The movie is slated to be released on January 12th, 2024, and will be the sixth standalone film in the Sony Spider-Man Universe.
Fans praised him for his tag team match at WrestleMania 37 – Night 1 when he teamed up with Damian Priest against The Miz and John Morrison. Bunny most recently worked this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match in January.
