Roman Reigns Reaches WWE Milestone – Roman Reigns was put right back into the role of being a top star when he returned last August at SummerSlam after going on hiatus for a few months shortly before WrestleMania 36.
Reigns beat Bray Wyatt at the Payback pay-per-view event to become the WWE Universal Champion. Since that time, he has retained the title over the likes of Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, and Edge.
Reigns has now held the title for 237 days during this title reign. What’s more impressive is the recent milestone he achieved. By combining his first title reign, which was for 63 days, and this title reign, he has held the title for a total of 300 days.
Reigns will make his next title defense against Bryan on next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Tampa, Florida at Yuengling Center on FOX with Bryan’s SmackDown career seemingly on the line.
