Batista No Longer Advertised For The WWE Hall of Fame – WWE will have two classes be inducted this year at the Hall of Fame ceremony over WrestleMania weekend. Several names have been confirmed for the 2020 class, which had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while only two names have been confirmed thus far for the 2021 class.
Batista is part of the 2020 class as he was announced among the other names last year. There have been rumors of Batista not being able to make it to the ceremony, but now, WWE.com is no longer advertising him for the class, as seen below.
This could be a mistake on WWE’s part. It’s possible the company is holding off on his induction until they can have fans in attendance for the ceremony as he would be a draw for the live gate. Until Batista or WWE confirms he won’t be part of the class, this will stay a rumor.
John “Bradshaw” Layfield, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, The Bella Twins, and The NWO (Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman) are listed for the 2020 class.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 6th.
