Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa are set to join forces in a new buddy action comedy film titled “The Working Crew,” directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, who is also behind the upcoming Blue Beetle movie. The news was reported by Deadline.
The film, written by Jonathan Tropper, the creator of the series “Warrior,” has an undisclosed plot.
The project will be produced by Jeffrey Fierson, known for his collaboration with Momoa on the Netflix/Discovery Canada series “Frontier.” Both Bautista and Momoa have been involved in various recent film projects, with Bautista appearing in movies such as M. Night Shyamalan’s “Knock at the Cabin” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” Meanwhile, Momoa is set to star in Warner Bros’ highly anticipated sequel “Aquaman.”
