– As noted over the weekend, Dave Meltzer reported on last night’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that RAW General Manager will be undergoing hip replacement surgery. Meltzer added on last night’s episode that Foley was originally supposed to have this weekend off, but was called to do the appearance at Roadblock last night. Foley was said to be “in tremendous pain” and will be getting the hip replacement surgery relatively soon. He requested time off because it is difficult for him to do all the traveling with the pain that he’s in.
– Cesaro commented on winning the tag titles last night at Roadblock: End of the Line, ending the New Day’s 483-day record reign. Returning in April of this year, Cesaro had been out since last November with a torn rotator cuff muscle. Since returning Cesaro had been a contender in a number of matches, but wasn’t able to capture a title until last night.
Chasing a title since I came back in April. So close so many times. Finally it paid off. Thank you! 😴 now, after the show is before the show pic.twitter.com/eNS462nwxW— Cesaro (@WWECesaro) December 19, 2016
