WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair Hospitalized Following Scary Fall In Tampa

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was rushed to a nearby hospital on Friday morning after suffering a fall outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida.

Details Surrounding The Incident And Facial Injuries

According to TMZ, the wrestling legend had been spending time at Wagamama in Tampa when he abruptly got up from the bar, left his drink and phone behind, and walked across the street.

Sources indicate that while outside, Flair suddenly collapsed, sustaining noticeable facial and head injuries. Eyewitness accounts and obtained photos show emergency medical personnel gathering around the “Nature Boy” before transporting him into an ambulance.

The fall reportedly resulted in significant lacerations. “We’re told Ric cut his head and eye open during the fall… and his eye was bleeding extensively. He may also have a concussion,” the outlet noted. The full extent of his injuries and current medical standing remain unconfirmed by representatives as he receives evaluation at the hospital.

Disclosed Medical Issues Prior To Fall

The frightening accident occurred just hours after Flair publicly revealed that he is dealing with a blood clot in his leg. Earlier on Friday, he took to social media to inform fans that he had to cancel an upcoming appearance at the Washington State Horror Con in Seattle due to medical travel restrictions.

Flair explained that his physicians limited his air travel to no more than three or four hours at a time, warning that blood clots carry life-threatening risks. At this time, there is no official connection linking Friday morning’s fall directly to his ongoing blood clot diagnosis, though the medical scare has drawn widespread concern across the professional wrestling community.
