WWE NXT Moves To Wednesday Night On November 4 For Direct Head-To-Head Battle With AEW Blood & Guts

WWE has officially confirmed a major midweek scheduling shift for its developmental brand, announcing during the October 27 broadcast of NXT on The CW that the show will air live on Wednesday, November 4.

The move sets up a rare direct head-to-head battle against All Elite Wrestling, as AEW presents its high-stakes Blood & Guts special live from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, on the exact same evening.

Cody Rhodes Set For Milestone Appearance At Dusty Classic Finals

To anchor the high-profile Wednesday broadcast, WWE is loading the card with major tournament stakes and marquee star power:

  • Dusty Classic Finals: The broadcast will feature the tournament final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, crowning the 2026 tag team tournament winners.
  • Cody Rhodes Returns To NXT: Cody Rhodes is officially scheduled to appear on the broadcast to hand deliver and present the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy to the winning team in honor of his legendary father.

With both promotions bringing heavy-hitting cards to the Wednesday night airwaves, November 4 is shaping up to be one of the most intense head-to-head ratings clashes of the year.
