AEW star Dralistico is reportedly eyeing a jump to WWE when his contract expires in December 2026, driven by a desire to perform alongside his brother Dragon Lee.
With his current deal wrapping up, speculation has intensified surrounding where the luchador will land next. Addressing these rumors, WrestleVotes noted that a potential crossover to WWE is actively on Dralistico’s radar, with the opportunity to share a roster and travel schedule with Dragon Lee serving as a major catalyst.
Seamless Alignment With WWE’s Lucha Strategy
WrestleVotes emphasized that integrating Dralistico into the WWE system would be a straightforward process. The company’s ongoing relationship with AAA, paired with its broader spotlight on high-flying luchadores, creates an obvious landing spot for his style.
“Yeah, the rumblings are that he wants to come over, and he would like to travel and perform with his brother. He can be used great. It fits with AAA and everything WWE has been doing with luchas as of late.”
While his original deal would have wrapped up sooner, Bryan Alvarez reported that AEW tacked on extra time to account for past injury downtime, stretching his obligation into December. Although internal conversations took place in AEW about extending his stay, industry chatter points to a strong likelihood—greater than 50%—that he opts to test the market and target a WWE contract.
Social Teases And Television Absence
Dralistico has done little to quiet the exit speculation on his own channels. He recently posted a stylized photo showing him behind bars in handcuffs with the caption, “Maybe not for long?”—a message widely interpreted as a countdown to free agency.
His status on television further reflects the impending split. Dralistico hasn’t stepped inside an AEW ring since the June 6 Collision taping, where he joined forces with RUSH and Sammy Guevara in a trios title loss. While no ink is on paper yet, the focus has shifted from whether WWE has space for him to what transpires once December arrives.
