Matt Jackson Reveals Why The Young Bucks Reuse Promotional Photos In AEW

Matt Jackson has revealed the amusing reason behind why fans frequently see The Young Bucks using the exact same promotional photos across multiple AEW events.

Speaking on the latest episode of Being The Elite, Matt explained that his brother Nick Jackson has always despised posing for official photo shoots, tracing his reluctance all the way back to their childhood.

The Real Reason Behind Repeated Graphics

Matt detailed how Nick’s lifelong aversion to camera days translates directly into television production choices, leading to identical pay-per-view graphics throughout the year.

“He hates the direction,” Matt stated. “He used to hate school picture day, yearbook day, and all that stuff. He’s always complaining to my mom, like, ‘God, I got to do these freaking photos, Mom? Yeah, you have to. Everyone has to, Nick. You go to the school? Yeah, you got to take a picture.’”

Matt jokingly added that fans will continue to notice recycled imagery because of this habit. “This will be the only time you see us do this in 2026. When you’re complaining and you’re like, God, these photos have been used for 20 of the matches. You know what everyone goes, ‘all the Young Bucks matches that I love this year, it’s like the same freaking graphic,’ because he doesn’t want to do photos.”

Meanwhile, Brandon Cutler offered some backstage commentary regarding the duo’s recent squash match loss to Davis and Doyle on AEW Dynamite. “Coming from a lot of experience, what you guys just experienced for the very first time in your careers is a squash match,” Cutler joked.
