Stephanie Vaquer Out of Action Again As WWE Alters RAW Main Event Plans

Stephanie Vaquer has been pulled from in-ring action once again after General Manager Adam Pearce announced during the opening segment of the October 26 episode of WWE RAW that she is not medically cleared to compete.

The sudden update canceled her scheduled No. 1 Contender’s Match against Becky Lynch, which was set to determine the next challenger for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship. With Vaquer sidelined, Pearce declared that Lynch will bypass the contender match entirely and challenge Morgan directly for the title later in the broadcast.

A Confusing Timeline Of Medical Availability

Vaquer’s physical status has been surrounded by mixed signals over the past several weeks. After appearing on crutches during the October 12 broadcast of RAW, “La Primera” went on to perform at WWE live events in Hawaii on October 16 and October 17.

The situation appeared to resolve over the weekend when WWE released a video showing Vaquer dramatically throwing away her crutches, declaring she was fully cleared and calling out Lynch for Monday night. However, just hours before showtime, WWE released a social media tease questioning her availability, leading directly to Pearce’s opening announcement.

Reason For Removal Remains Unclear

At this time, WWE has not provided an official explanation as to why Vaquer failed to receive final medical clearance for tonight’s broadcast. It remains completely unknown whether her removal stems from a aggravation of her prior injury, a precautionary measure by WWE’s medical staff, or a last-minute creative shift.
