Darby Allin was caught off guard on the August 19 episode of AEW Dynamite when a series of pyro shots and fire cues went off directly in his path. The moment happened after Kevin Knight called him to the ring just days before their match at AEW All In.
As Allin stood on the stage, multiple bursts of pyro fired toward him, leaving him stunned and struggling to move. Knight immediately took advantage, attacking Allin as he tried to make his way down the ramp. The beating continued all the way to ringside.
“The Jet” finished the assault with a chair‑assisted coast‑to‑coast that left Allin unable to continue. Medical staff arrived and stretchered him out of the arena.
The incident adds a dangerous twist to Allin’s upcoming match at All In, raising questions about his condition heading into the event.
