AEW Dynamite Results – August 19, 2026 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage results for AEW Dynamite on August 19, live from the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, MD.
We are live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Baltimore, MD, as Will Ospreay makes his way to the ring first for the Trios Match.
United Empire (Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira and HENARE) vs. The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer)
Will Ospreay and Brian Cage started things off. Cage muscled Ospreay into the corner and hammered him with shoulder charges. Ospreay slipped free and cracked Cage with an enzuigiri, sending Cage flying back into his corner.
Rocky Romero tagged in, and Ospreay brought in Akira. Akira took Romero down hard and scored a near fall. Romero immediately bailed out and tagged Lance Archer, while Akira tagged in HENARE.
HENARE and Archer traded forearms and elbows, neither man budging. HENARE tried to knock Archer off his feet, but Archer blasted him with a shoulder tackle. Archer shoved HENARE into the corner and unloaded chops. HENARE fought his way out with heavy shots of his own.
HENARE blasted Archer with a kick that dropped him to a knee, then tagged in Ospreay. They doubled up on Archer, then tagged Akira for a three‑man combination that scored a close two count. Archer fought back to his feet, smashed Akira down, and knocked both Ospreay and HENARE off the apron.
Cage re‑entered and made quick work of Akira until Akira dodged him, sending Cage crashing into Archer. That opened the door for HENARE to tag in and unload heavy shots on Cage. Cage avoided a kick and rolled HENARE up, but HENARE rolled through and kicked Cage anyway.
Archer tagged in and went after HENARE, looking for the Blackout, but HENARE countered with a deadlift German suplex. Archer got back up and tagged Romero just as Ospreay tagged in on his side. Ospreay lit up Romero and scored a near fall before everyone else stormed the ring. Chaos broke out with bodies flying everywhere until only Romero and Ospreay remained.
Winners: United Empire
Kazuchika Okada – Backstage Comments Ahead of All In
We got a reminder of the Three‑Way Match for the International Championship at All In, and then headed backstage to hear from Kazuchika Okada.
Okada said nothing is more important than family, unlike Konosuke Takeshita, who left the Don Callis Family because he’s too selfish. Okada said Kyle Fletcher isn’t making that same mistake — Fletcher understands the only thing that matters is keeping the title inside the Family.
Okada said if Fletcher retains the title at All In, he’ll be happy for him. But if the match ends with Okada becoming the new champion, then Fletcher should be happy for him and raise his hand.
Kyle Fletcher, Tony Schiavone, Konosuke Takeshita – International Title Segment
Tony Schiavone was in the ring and introduced International Champion Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher said we’re in the middle of the greatest International Title reign of all time and he sees no reason for it to end anytime soon — especially not at Wembley Stadium. He said he trusts Don Callis completely, so he’s willing to go along with the plan, but Okada needs to understand his role. If family is what matters, then Okada should have no problem watching Fletcher’s back and making sure he retains.
Fletcher said one thing he and Okada agree on is their hate for Konosuke Takeshita. He added that Takeshita is probably still licking his wounds from losing the G1, but he’s still the most selfish, narcissistic—
Before he could finish, Takeshita’s music hit. Takeshita stormed to the ring as Schiavone wisely bailed out.
The fight broke out immediately. Fletcher hit a Half‑and‑Half suplex, but Takeshita fired back with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Takeshita went for the Power Drive Knee, Fletcher blocked, and they traded Tombstone attempts. Takeshita then spiked Fletcher with a Poison Rana, blasted him with the Power Drive Knee, and finished him off with Raging Fire.
Takeshita stood tall, raising the International Title high as the segment ended.

Renee Paquette Sit‑Down Interview – Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay
Renee Paquette sat down with Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay for a long, tense conversation that traced their entire history. They started with their first meeting in PWG, then jumped to their Wrestle Kingdom match in New Japan. Omega said fans thought he was facing the new face of the company, but NJPW didn’t see Ospreay as a draw on his own — they needed Omega back.
Ospreay pushed back, pointing out the difference in eras. He talked about grinding through the COVID pandemic: fifteen‑hour flights, two‑week quarantines in broom‑closet hotel rooms, all just to wrestle. Meanwhile, Omega had three‑hour drives and far more comfortable conditions. Omega countered that things were rough in the U.S. too, with empty arenas and no crowd reactions, and even if Japan could cheer, there was no guarantee they would.
They fast‑forwarded five months to their Forbidden Door match. Omega accused Ospreay of recruiting Don Callis to help him. They went back and forth about embarrassing each other, Callis’ interference, and the way fans call Ospreay’s win tainted. Ospreay admitted it bothers him. Omega said he forgives him.
Omega insisted All In isn’t a rubber match — because, in his mind, he’s already beaten Ospreay twice. He called this a desperate attempt by Ospreay to prove he’s on Kenny’s level.
The conversation shifted to Omega’s diverticulitis. Omega said he’s had to change, but it’s made him better. He asked Ospreay if he’s fully healed from his broken neck, then ran him down again. Ospreay snapped when Omega brought up MJF, saying he wants to become the first Englishman to win the world title on home soil — without Don Callis, without the Death Riders, and without shortcuts. He said he knows he can do it alone.
Omega told him he’s already proven he can’t beat Kenny, and this time it’ll be in front of Ospreay’s family. He said win, lose, or draw, Ospreay’s mom will be proud — but his son might need a new hero when his dad fails to win the title.
Ospreay lunged, ready to fight, but was held back as Dynamite continued.
AEW TBS Championship 4‑Way Match: Maya World (c) vs. Kris Statlander vs. Persephone vs. Hikaru Shida
Persephone and Maya World spilled to the outside right away while Shida and Statlander traded early shots in the ring. Shida caught Statlander with an enzuigiri that knocked her off the apron, then went after World — only to get sent outside herself. Persephone tried to take control, sending World to the floor with a headscissors and lining up a dive, but Shida cut her off. World wiped out both women anyway, only for Persephone to regain momentum by dropping World on the floor. Shida dragged World back into the ring.
World stomped Persephone’s chest, but Shida fired back with an Exploder in the corner. Statlander and World traded elbows until Shida hit a missile dropkick on Statlander and followed with a Falcon Arrow. Persephone blasted Shida with a shotgun dropkick, sending her into the corner. World rolled Persephone up, Persephone kicked out, and Shida cracked World with a knee strike. Shida offered Persephone her hand — Persephone kicked it away and booted her in the midsection, then hoisted her for a Razor’s Edge.
Statlander yanked Shida out of Persephone’s grip and powerbombed her, then nailed Persephone with a discus lariat and covered. World broke it up with a top‑rope dive, then rolled up Statlander for the win.
Winner (and still TBS Champion): Maya World
The Brawling Birds Backstage Promo
The Brawling Birds cut a promo on Divine Dominion, telling the slags to strap in and hit them as hard and as often as they can. They promised the receipt will always be harder. Two undefeated teams are heading into London, and thousands of drunken Brits will be screaming for them to take their bloody heads off.
AEW Continental Cup Challenge Tournament: Jay White vs. Jon Moxley
The crowd opened with dueling chants as White and Moxley circled, testing each other with a knuckle‑lock. Moxley started to take control until White bridged back up, powered through, and pushed Moxley to the ropes. They reset, locked up again, and Moxley cinched in a hammerlock until White reached the ropes. White got back up, only to get dumped hard and roll outside for a breather.
Moxley dragged White back in and controlled the arms, but White fought up and got launched with a release German suplex. White slowly rose, ate a few shots, then used the ropes to stop himself and fire back. He slid into the corner off an Irish whip and snapped Moxley down with a DDT. White followed with a flurry in the corner, but Moxley fought out and sent White into the turnbuckle.
White took Moxley outside, but Moxley avoided a dive and threw White into the barricade. White recovered, brought Moxley back in, and hit a snap suplex into a two count. He trapped Moxley’s arms in a Nagata‑style submission, but Moxley rolled through to the ropes.
They traded shots until Moxley sent White outside and dove through the ropes, clutching his arm afterward. Moxley went up top, but White dodged and hit a cutthroat suplex — then a second — then a third. Moxley grabbed a bulldog choke, but White powered out and hit a fourth suplex for a near fall. White dragged Moxley up for a superplex, but took some of the landing himself.
White looked for the Blade Runner, Moxley fought it off, and they collided on the ropes. Moxley locked in a sleeper into a rear naked choke, but White rolled through and nearly pinned him. White popped up and finally hit the Blade Runner — but the impact sent Moxley rolling out of the ring before White could cover.
White dragged Moxley back in, but that hesitation cost him. Moxley snatched a rear naked choke, White fought up, and Moxley drilled him with a Death Rider to win.
Winner: Jon Moxley
After the match, Marina Shafir hit the ring to check on Moxley. Mox acknowledged how tough Jay White was, then he and the Death Riders exited through the crowd… just as The Dogs jumped Jay White.
Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly ran out to even the odds, but a returning Gabe Kidd wiped them out. Roderick Strong rushed in next, but The Dogs overwhelmed him too — until the AEW Trios Champions, Brodido and Adam Page, made their way out.
The Dogs bailed from the ring, avoiding the champs’ wrath.
Page grabbed a mic to address them, but Ricochet interrupted as he stepped onto the stage with Gates of Agony and The Lethal Twist. Ricochet finally let Page finish.
Page said he and his crew are the Trios Champions, and there’s no chance they’re missing Wembley Stadium. He called out anyone who wants a shot at the titles, telling them to meet the champs under the Wembley arch at dusk — because they’ll be waiting.
Maya World & Willow Nightingale Backstage with Renee Paquette
Renee Paquette interviewed Maya World backstage following her TBS Title victory. World was still riding the momentum when Willow Nightingale stepped in. Willow congratulated her on retaining the championship, then said she was making good on a promise — offering World a shot at the Women’s World Championship on Collision.
Willow started to address Mercedes Moné, but World cut her off. She reminded Willow that it might be her facing Moné at All In, not Willow.
Andrade El Idolo vs. Jonathan Cruz
Jonathan Cruz was already in the ring as MJF’s personal translator. He pulled out a scroll and read MJF’s “message” to Andrade in Spanish. According to the scroll, Andrade would never be the Real World Champion and wasn’t even a real Latino man. Cruz then went off script, saying he was better looking than Andrade and would kick his ass even if Andrade were here tonight.
Cruz tried to leave, but Andrade’s music hit and suddenly this was actually a match. Andrade power‑walked to the ring.
Bell rang. Spinning back elbow. The DM. Cruz was demolished in seconds.
Winner: Andrade
Andrade grabbed the mic and cut a promo on MJF in Spanish. Production jumped the gun and we could hear MJF’s voice before the video even started. Andrade called him a f’n fake champion.
MJF’s music hit and a video played on the big screen. MJF was in his hot tub in Long Island, applauding “Andrew” for soaking up the sunshine. He called himself Big Hebrew and said he asked the travel team if Andrade was going to Baltimore. They said yes, so MJF stayed home. He said the next time Andrew sees him will be at All In.
Taz chimed in saying MJF has a gorgeous mansion next to his.
Back in the ring, Andrade picked up Cruz — who was still laid out — and hit another DM. Andrade leaned over him and asked, “How you know?”

Willow Nightingale & Mercedes Moné Sit‑Down Interview Turns Into a Brawl
We headed backstage for a split‑room sit‑down with Renee Paquette, Willow Nightingale, and Mercedes Moné. They were kept apart after Moné’s recent attack, and Mercedes wasted no time talking trash about it.
Willow fired back by talking about the connection she has with the fans. She said Moné keeps chasing that affection and chasing the title, while Willow already has what Mercedes wants. Willow said she likes her chances going into All In.
Mercedes snapped back, bringing up Willow smiling when she was hurt in New Japan. She called Willow a bully for what she did to her.
Things heated up fast. Willow decided the interview was over and ripped off her mic. Mercedes did the same. They went looking for each other backstage and found each other in seconds, exploding into a brawl that spilled all the way to ringside.
Officials tried to break it up as the two kept swinging. It looked like things were calming down, but it hit a boiling point again as security dragged Moné out of the ring and up the ramp. Willow’s music hit as the chaos finally settled.
Swerve Strickland Backstage
Swerve Strickland was backstage with Prince Nana. Nana asked if Hangman Adam Page really said anyone could challenge for the Trios Titles. He warned Page not to say it if he doesn’t mean it.
Swerve walked off, and Nana called out, “Whose House?” as the segment ended.
AEW Continental Cup Challenge Tournament: Nigel McGuinness vs. Hechicero
Hechicero went straight after Nigel McGuinness’ injured leg, twisting at the ankle until Nigel warned him that if he kept it up, he’d go after the mask. Nigel made good on it, dragging Hechicero down and tearing at the mask until Hechicero broke free.
Hechicero got back to his feet and wrung Nigel’s arm, shifting into a front headlock. Nigel forced a rope break, but Hechicero slammed the rope into the bad leg. Hechicero stayed in control, sending Nigel hard to the mat for a count of two.
They traded punches and chops as Nigel tried to mount a comeback. The crowd roared for him, but Hechicero refused to give him any space. Hechicero locked in a sleeper, but Nigel turned it into a submission of his own and cinched in the London Dungeon. Hechicero broke free and took over again.
Nigel looked like he was in agony but still fought to his feet. He hit a knee on Hechicero and locked in a body scissors. Hechicero screamed in pain but wouldn’t tap. Eventually, he passed out, giving Nigel the win.
Winner: Nigel McGuinness
The show cuts to a commercial break. We will be back for more AEW Dynamite results for August 19, 2026.
Kevin Knight Addresses Darby Allin
Tony Schiavone was at ringside and introduced TNT Champion Kevin Knight. Knight came to the ring and immediately told Tony to leave so he could speak directly to Darby Allin ahead of their Falls Count Anywhere Match at Wembley Stadium.
Knight brought up Allin’s comments from last week and called him out for a face‑to‑face. Darby stepped onto the stage, but Knight cut him off right away. He demanded security check Allin to make sure he didn’t bring any surprises or weapons, refusing to let him get any closer until they cleared him.
Knight told the crowd to shut up when the champ is speaking, then kept running Darby down as Allin walked slowly down the ramp. Out of nowhere, what looked like a pyro malfunction went off right beside Darby, blasting him off his feet.
Knight jumped on the opening immediately. He dragged Darby into the ring, propped a chair against Darby’s head, and smashed him with a Coast to Coast dropkick. Knight grabbed his TNT Title and left while a medic rushed in to check on Darby.
A stretcher was brought out as Steven Borden Jr. came to ringside to check on his friend. The crowd chanted Darby’s name while officials tried to stabilize him.
We will return after a break with more results from the August 19, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Darby Allin Injury Update & Kevin Knight’s Mockery
They replayed what happened moments earlier, showing the pyro blast that caught Darby Allin on his way down the ramp. Commentary said Darby sustained burns from the mishap as he was loaded into an ambulance.
Kevin Knight stepped in during the chaos, mocking Darby and Steven Borden Jr. while Borden was being held back from going after him. The champ walked off while officials kept the situation under control.
The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jacson) vs. The Don Callis Family (El Clon, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle)
El Clon started things off with Nick Jackson, and Nick took control before tagging in Matt. The Young Bucks knocked Doyle and Davis off the apron, then sent Clon to the outside. Clon came back in but got dragged to the corner, where Omega cracked him and tagged in. Omega knocked Davis and Doyle off the apron and teamed with the Bucks for a triple‑team on Clon. Davis tried to jump in but got sent to the floor, and The Elite launched Clon into him.
Matt tagged in and went for a DDT, but Clon countered with a knee strike. Doyle and Davis yanked Omega and Matt off the apron, then the Family triple‑teamed Nick. Don Callis’ crew stood tall.
Things broke down fast. Matt fought off Doyle and Davis. Clon and Omega got tags, and Omega hit a hard chop followed by a neckbreaker for a count of two before the Family broke it up. The Bucks jumped in to help, and Omega hit You Can’t Escape on Clon. The Bucks kept Doyle and Davis away as Omega covered for a count of two. The Family bailed to the outside, only to get wiped out by a triple dive from The Elite.
Clon was dragged back in. He popped up after a leg lariat from Omega, but Omega dropped him again. Doyle and Davis rushed in off a tag to Doyle, but they ate superkicks and a snap dragon suplex. That led straight into a superkick party. The ring cleared until only Doyle and Omega remained. Omega hit a V‑Trigger and finished it with the One‑Winged Angel.
Winners: The Elite
After the match, the celebration didn’t last. More members of the Don Callis Family hit the ring for a sneak attack. Archer set up the Bucks for a double chokeslam, but Cope sprinted down to make the save. Cage followed, slower, as the crowd sang Cope’s theme a cappella. Cope got dropped, but Cage fired back with shots of his own.
It all fell apart when the Bucks accidentally collided with Cage, sparking an argument with Cope. The Family jumped again, and the fight spilled up the ramp and into the back.
That left Kenny Omega alone in the ring with a mic. Will Ospreay walked out with a mic of his own. He said Kenny promised words after the match, so he wanted to hear them. Ospreay was still furious about his kid being dragged into things.
Omega said he only had one thing to say to Will: security, get this man out of the arena.
Ospreay stopped on the ramp when Omega egged him on, and that was all it took. He sprinted to the ring and tackled Omega, raining down right hands. Security hit the ring to break it up, but Omega threw bodies aside and dragged Ospreay out onto the apron.
Omega hoisted Ospreay onto his shoulders and drilled him with a One Winged Angel, sending him crashing straight through the table at ringside. He stood tall in the ring, holding the AEW World Championship high as the show went off the air.
