Tatum Paxley made her WWE SmackDown debut on August 7, becoming the latest Superstar to enter the ongoing rivalry involving Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab.
Flair was facing Cargill in the main event when Michin and B-Fab interfered in the match. That brought Alexa Bliss into the situation, as she made her way to the ring wearing street clothes and a large brace on her left arm.
It was Bliss’ first appearance since July, when Cargill allegedly injured her arm. Bliss stopped partway down the entrance ramp and revealed Lily, her signature doll, before the arena suddenly went dark.
When the lights came back on, Paxley was standing on the top rope. She then launched herself toward the floor, taking out both Michin and B-Fab with a flying crossbody.
Paxley’s appearance was particularly notable because of her history with dolls during her time in NXT. Her arrival alongside Bliss therefore added another layer to the presentation, while immediately establishing her as an ally of Flair and Bliss in their ongoing battle with Cargill’s group.
With Michin and B-Fab taken out, Flair was able to regain control of the main event. She eventually defeated Cargill by hitting Natural Selection from the top rope.
Following the victory, Flair, Bliss, and Paxley stood together in the ring and celebrated, officially closing the show with the new alliance standing tall.
Tatum Paxley’s WWE Accomplishments
Paxley, 29, brings an impressive background to the SmackDown roster. Before entering professional wrestling, she competed in powerlifting and won USA Powerlifting championships in 2019 and 2021.
She signed with WWE in 2021 and made her NXT debut in January 2022. Paxley eventually reached the top of the NXT women’s division, defeating Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship in October 2025.
Her first reign was short-lived. Jayne regained the championship one month later after Paxley was betrayed by Izzi Dame.
Paxley later got revenge against Dame, defeating her to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship at Vengeance Day in March 2026. She held the championship until June, when Zaria defeated her for the title.
Paxley’s championship history is also significant. She and Stephanie Vaquer are currently the only wrestlers to have held both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
Her move to SmackDown now gives Paxley an opportunity to establish herself on WWE’s main roster. Joining Flair and Bliss immediately places her in a prominent storyline, while her past accomplishments give her credibility as she begins this new chapter.
