The professional wrestling community is in mourning following the tragic news that Benjamin Satterley, globally recognized as PAC, passed away at the age of 40 on Sunday evening.
All Elite Wrestling broke the devastating news via official channels less than 24 hours after PAC competed live inside the NOW Arena at AEW All Out 2026 in Chicago, Illinois.
AEW Releases Official Statement On The Loss Of PAC
All Elite Wrestling issued an official statement honoring Satterley’s remarkable career and lasting legacy across the industry:
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”
Satterley’s final professional bout occurred on Saturday night at All Out, where he challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship.
A Legendary International Career
Satterley broke into the industry in 2004, building a reputation across the British independent scene before earning international acclaim in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Dragon Gate.
In 2012, he signed with WWE under the ring name Neville, where his gravity-defying athletic ability made him a cornerstone of NXT. He held both the NXT Tag Team Championship and enjoyed a dominant 286-day reign as NXT Champion before transitioning to the main roster, where he became a multiple-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Following his departure from WWE in 2018, Satterley emerged as an original signee for All Elite Wrestling in 2019. During his tenure with AEW, he became the inaugural All-Atlantic Champion, captured the AEW World Trios Championship, and spent his final years as an essential force within the Death Riders faction.
