Konosuke Takeshita is officially back in AEW. “The Alpha” made an unannounced return on the August 19 episode of Dynamite, interrupting Kyle Fletcher in the middle of a promo about their upcoming three‑way match with Kazuchika Okada at AEW All In.
Takeshita didn’t waste time making a statement. He cut off Fletcher, dropped him with a shot, and stood tall while holding the AEW International Championship — the same title he lost to Fletcher last month.
This appearance marks Takeshita’s first time on AEW programming since Dynamite Beach Break in July, where Fletcher defeated him clean to win the International Championship.
With All In approaching, Takeshita’s return adds another layer to the growing tension around the International Title picture.
