GUNTHER Expected to Be Out 2–3 Weeks Following Storyline Suspension – Last week on WWE RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce addressed the fallout from GUNTHER’s actions following WrestleMania 41. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, frustrated after losing the title to Jey Uso, attacked Michael Cole and choked out Pat McAfee during the broadcast.

In response to the incident, Michael Cole raised concerns over the safety of the broadcast team directly to Adam Pearce. As a result, Pearce announced that GUNTHER had been fined an undisclosed amount and suspended indefinitely from WWE programming.

As noted, GUNTHER had actually requested time off, which is why WWE officials decided to write him off television with the storyline suspension.

Furthermore, PWInsider noted that GUNTHER has been spotted in London multiple times over the past week. According to sources within WWE, the general belief is that GUNTHER’s “indefinite” suspension will realistically last between two and three weeks. This aligns with expectations that the time off was pre-planned rather than an actual disciplinary measure.

GUNTHER’s absence comes after a dominant run as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, culminating in a major title loss to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41. The suspension angle was used not only to explain his temporary disappearance but also to further emphasize his volatile mindset following the high-profile defeat.

As of now, no official return date has been confirmed by WWE. However, if the estimated timeframe holds, fans can expect GUNTHER back on television by mid to late May, potentially setting up his next major storyline heading into the summer.

WrestlingAttitude.Com will continue to monitor any updates regarding GUNTHER’s WWE status and provide more information as it becomes available.
