In the final moments of the match, Michin delivered a kick to the jaw, followed by a cannonball in the corner, before landing the decisive Eat Defeat to earn the win.
Next Wednesday, December 18, the second round of the tournament will kick off with Vega vs. Natalya, which will premiere on X/Twitter at noon Eastern time. The other second-round matchup features Michin taking on Katana Chance. The winner of the tournament will earn a future title shot against LeRae in the coming weeks.
In addition to her success in the number one contender’s tournament, Michin is also participating in WWE’s tournament to crown the first-ever Women’s United States Champion. She is set to face Tiffany Stratton in a semifinal match on SmackDown this Friday. Following her win over Nile, Michin expressed her ambitions in a promo, revealing her goal of holding both the U.S. and Speed title belts, signaling her desire for double gold.
