Michin Talks WWE’s Evolving Stance on Marijuana Use – During an appearance on THE SPEAKEEZY podcast, Michin addressed WWE’s evolving stance on marijuana use, revealing that the company has become more accepting of it in recent years.
Michin explained that marijuana was previously on WWE’s banned substances list but was removed a few years ago, signaling a shift in the company’s approach.
“Because it’s (marijuana) more legal, they’ve kind of accepted it. So before, that used to be… marijuana used to be on the drug list, and they took that off a couple [of] years ago,” Michin stated.
WWE’s decision aligns with a broader cultural shift, as more organizations and individuals recognize the potential benefits of marijuana, including pain management and mental health support. By removing it from the banned substances list, WWE allows its talent to make their own choices regarding its use.
