Toni Storm Claims She’s Retiring From Pro Wrestling – Is Timeless Toni Storm truly retiring from professional wrestling, or is this another twist in her unpredictable career?
In a recent interview with James Dator of SB Nation, Toni Storm made a shocking statement, claiming that after a series of losses in AEW, STARDOM, and CMLL, she has decided to step away from the ring.
“I’m not used to being a loser,” Storm said, expressing frustration over her recent setbacks. “I’ve failed at everything. I lost in AEW, I lost in Japan, I lost in Mexico. This is the last you’ll hear from me again. Enjoy Mariah May as your champion. You can all enjoy that. AEW is just fine without me. Everything is going well for AEW. They don’t need Toni Storm.”
Reflecting on her career, Storm pointed to a particular turning point—the moment she met Mariah May—as the catalyst for her perceived downfall. “When I met Mariah May. I’d been on the top of the world for many, many years. I delivered. Then Mariah came onto the scene and everything went tits up,” Storm remarked.
Ending the interview on a somber note, Storm altered her trademark catchphrase, signaling her potential exit from the wrestling world. “Chin down. Tits in. Don’t bother watching for the shoe,” she said, leaving fans questioning whether this was the end of her time in AEW.
Despite her emotional words, Toni Storm is still advertised for an upcoming CMLL event on December 13, suggesting that her retirement may not be as final as it initially seemed. Stay tuned for more updates on her status as they become available.
