Update on Rhea Ripley’s Injury: Expected Recovery Time Revealed – Rhea Ripley’s departure from the WWE Women’s World Championship scene on Monday Night Raw left a void in the opening segment, as she relinquished her title due to a shoulder injury sustained in a previous episode’s brawl with Liv Morgan.
Reports suggest that Ripley’s injury could keep her out of action for a substantial period, with Bryan Alvarez mentioning on Wrestling Observer Radio that she may need at least four months to recover fully. This setback comes amidst a heated rivalry with Morgan, who seized the opportunity to taunt Ripley following her title forfeiture, adding further fuel to their ongoing feud.
“She suffered an AC Joint sprain in the brawl with Liv Morgan last week on Raw. She was thrown into the wall, and boom. There goes the shoulder, and an injury like that is probably 4-6 weeks to gain mobility and then three months to be back in action.”
Alvarez later added, “You know, I wonder if it is a sprained AC joint. And it’s gonna be like, three months like Seth [Rollins] got injured right after the Royal Rumble, and he didn’t wrestle for months, and they didn’t take the title off of him. Obviously, they had a big thing planned at WrestleMania. So that’s probably why, but I’m wondering if maybe, you know, they were like, ‘Okay, well, you’re hurt and we could just ice the title for two months, three months, but you know what we can we can make something of this with you and Liv’”.
