The Rock Acquires Over 96K Shares of TKO Stock – A new SEC filing notes, “The Issuer previously granted the Reporting Person an award of 96,558 restricted stock units that vested upon completion of certain services described in that Independent Contractor Services and Merchandising Agreement, dated as of January 22, 2024, between the Reporting Person and World Wrestling Entertainment, LLC.”
When The Rock joined the TKO Board of Directors on January 23, two restricted stock units were included in the SEC filing: 193,115 and 96,558. The original filing on January 23 noted, “These RSUs will vest upon completion of certain services described in that Independent Services Contractor and Merchandising Agreement, dated as of January 22, 2024, between the Reporting Person and World Wrestling Entertainment, LLC, and are subject to potential acceleration or forfeiture in accordance with the terms of the Award Agreement.”
The Rock was part of the road to WrestleMania and competed at WrestleMania XL Saturday, teaming with Roman Reigns to defeat Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.
Rock showed up on 4/8 WWE Raw to say that he had to go away for a while, but that his story with Rhodes was not finished.
