The winner will earn the opportunity to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Gunther, also known as ‘The Ring General,’ has been a formidable Intercontinental Champion, defending his title against tough contenders like Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Chad Gable, and Bronson Reed. However, McDonagh and Zayn have yet to test their mettle against him in the ring for the coveted championship.
