3/4 WWE RAW Results – We see Jey Uso and Nia Jax arriving at the building earlier today. We then take a look at the progression of the Rock and Cody Rhodes challenges.

We are live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, as Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.

Cody wants to know what San Antonio wants to talk about.  He says he would love if they could speak about how at Wrestlemania 40, in the main event, with the lights on brightest, he will stand across from the greatest champion in company history . . . Roman Reigns.  However, he is unable to talk about that because of a distraction.  A distraction that stings quite a bit.  He says he is talking about the Rock.  Cody says last week, Rock took to Instagram and filmed a 16 minute video and then deleted it and added a 21 minute video.  Then he went on Smackdown and talked.  He will summarize things and say that Rock called everyone Meth Heads, he talked about Cody’s dog . . . and you don’t talk about Cody’s dog.  Cody says Rock did not accept his one-on-one challenge.

Rock spun that and changed the conversation and made a new challenge like the master politician he is.  Cody says he would vote for Rock.  Cody says they had a conversation but you were pouring honey into his ear by saying the people don’t want Cody Rhodes versus Roman Reigns.  The people want Rock versus Roman.  Then the most peculiar thing happened.  You started chanting something else.  Cody says WWE Officials heard it and Cody says he heard it.  Rock heard it too because he called all of you crybabies.  Cody asks if there are any crybabies in the arena.  Now the Rock has presented an entirely different challenge.  One that involved his friend and it is time for him to come out.

Cody brings out Seth Rollins.

While Seth makes his way to the ring, we are told that Seth and Drew will meet on Night Two.

Seth welcomes everyone to the show.  Seth asks Mr. Nightmare what is he thinking. 

Cody says Seth has offered to have his back against the Bloodline.  You were next to me when I got slapped in the face.  The plot has gotten twisted.  Cody says he didn’t think he would be on Wrestlemania until he saw that power point presentation.  You, coming off of injury, you have to face the only other guy who has pinned him in the ring other than Roman . . . Drew McIntyre.  Cody says he wants to say, for all the world to see, Rock and Roman are two Mount Rushmore wrestlers.  Cody says he understands if Seth wants to focus on Drew and not have his back. 

Seth paces and he says he respects that Cody has given him the out, he will take care of Drew.  He told everyone last week that there are some things bigger than them and taking down the Bloodline is the biggest thing they can do.  It is not just Cody’s story that needs to be finished.  It is his story too.  They wanted to take the power from the top.  Seth says he wanted to give it back to the people.  Roman wants to keep the power for himself.  Seth says the problem is that they are this close.  With Rock in the Bloodline, they are this close to Roman having absolute power. 

Seth says he is over the Rock.  Seth agrees that the Rock sucks and he hasn’t been the Rock or the People’s Champion for a while.  Seth says he figured he would come up with a new name for him.  Seth suggests Diarrhea Dwayne.  He has been talking a lot and what he says comes out like baby poop.  Rock speaks for 21 minutes and he insults your dog and then he says that he can take Seth’s title away.  Seth dares Rock to try.  Rock said he made professional wrestling cool again.  He saved us.  Seth says you ain’t been cool for 20 years.

What is cool is this morning he received 100% medical clearance.  Seth says he is back and he is ready to go.  Friday night, he will be at Smackdown to confront the Bloodline.  Seth says he wants to know if Cody has Seth’s back.

Cody tells Seth he also has a message for the Rock.  Cody says it’s been a long time since you haven’t been handed something.  You forgot.  The People’s Champion is not for perpetutity.  Cody says he will not whine for 21 minutes.  He will be at Smackdown wtih Seth and stand across from you and the whole Bloodline, in the great state of Texas.  Cody says he will give Rock, face to face, his clear and obvious answer to what will happen at Wrestlemania.

– Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh are in CLUBHOUSE preparing for Dom’s match against Gunther.

– We see Gunther in LOCKER ROOM.

We go to commercial.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Gunther in a Non Title Match

During the commentary, Michael Cole congratulates Sting for his retirement. Dom with a kick to the leg.  Gunther with a side head lock.  Gunther with a front face lock when Dom goes for the leg.  Dom gets to the ropes to force a break.  Dom pushes Gunther and chops him.  Gunther misses a chop and Dom chops Gunther.  Dom gets into the ropes and he slaps Gunther.  Dom goes to the floor and Gunther follows.  JD gets in Gunther’s face and Gunther pushes JD into the ring post.  Gunther misses a chop when JD is pulled out of the way and Gunther chops the ring post.  Gunther’s hand is sent into the ring post. Dom blocks a sleeper.  Dom goes for a wrist lock take down using the ropes but Gunther blocks it and Gunther chops Dom as we go to commercial.

We are back and Dom chops Gunther but Gunther chops Dom to the mat.  Gunther pulls off the protective vest and Gunther chops Dom.  Gunther with another chop.  Gunther with a Boston Crab and JD gets on the apron so Gunther has to release the hold.  He tries to chop JD but misses.  Dom drop kicks Gunther to the floor and Dom with a double jump cross body onto Gunther on the floor.  Dom with a chop and Gunther chops back.  Dom sends Gunther into the ropes and sets for a 619 but Gunther with a chop and he pulls Dom up on the cover.  Dom with a kick and Gunther with a chop.  Dom counters a power bomb with a Code Red for a near fall.  Dom with a flying forearm and Gunther falls into position on the ropes.  Dom with a 619 and he misses a frog splash but rolls through.  Gunther with a drop kick and a power bomb.  Gunther with a Boston Crab and Dom taps out.

Winner:  Gunther

Backstage:

We see Dakota, Iyo, Kairi, and Asuka walking in the back and Adam Pearce wants to know why they are here. Dakota says they are the tagt champs so they can go wherever they want. Pearce asks why are they here. Dakota says Shayna and Zoey have been talking about the tag titles and they are here to scout them.  Dakota says they can trust them.

Shinsuke Nakamura shows up and says they need to talk. Dakota says they have it. Adam tells Nakamura that he will have an announcement about the IC title tonight so he tells Nakamura to meet him in his office.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and we see Andrade arriving at the building.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter vs. Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler

Kayden and Katana talked about losing the tag titles by Cathy Kelley.  Katana says they want to get back to the top.  Kayden says it is Wrestlemania season so you need to step up or step back.

Shayna and Carter start things off and Carter with a victory roll for a near fall.  Carter goes for an arm drag and Shayna blocks it.    Zoey tags in and Carter kicks Zoey a few times.  Zoey with a super kick and Shayna tags in and Shayna with a running knee when Carter is put in the ropes.  Carter goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Zoey gets Chance up but Chance with an arm drag.  Zoey with a super kick and she goes up top but Carter grabs Zoey.  Chance sets for a superplex and Carter tags in.  Zoey knocks Chance off the turnbuckels and Carter goes to the turnbuckesl.  Carter and Chance with Spanish Fly for a near fall.  Chance tags in and Carter gets Zoey up and Chance leaps off Zoey and hits a head scissors on Shayna.  Zoey punches Carter and Cater with a kick while Chance is sent to the turnbuckles.  Carter and Chance hit After Party but Shayna pulls Chance to the floor.  Shayna with a Kirifuta Clutch while Zoey gets the three count with a rollup.

Winners:  Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

Dakota Kai enters the ring and she congratulates them on their win.  Dakota says after Kairi and Asuka win tomorrow, they will show up in Houston and you will get your tag title match.  Dakota says they will send them crying just like they did to Bayley.

Shayna takes the mic and she says it is about time.  They will see them next week.

– Becky Lynch is in the Gorilla Position as we go to commercial.

– We are in the Medical Room and Priest tells Dom to take it easy and they will take care of things with Imperium.  He tells JD that he will make things right with Gunther.

– We have a video package for Nia and Becky.

Nia Jax vs. Becky Lynch

Becky sends Nia into the turnbuckles and she kicks Nia.  NIa with shoulders in the corner but she runs into an uppercut.  Becky with a drop kick and running forearm into the corner.  Nia gets Becky up but Becky with a sunset flip that is blocked by Nia.  Nia with a slam.  Nia with a splash followed by a head butt.  Nia with an elbow drop for a near fall.  Becky with punches and forearms.  Nia gets Becky up and Becky goes for a sleeper.  Nia backs Becky into the turnbuckles and then snap mares Becky to get out of the hold.  Nia with a running hip into the corner followed by a stinkface.  Nia chokes Becky in the ropes.  Nia gets Becky up for a slam but Becky gets to her feet and she clips Nia.  Nia sends Becky into the corner and Becky with a European uppercut and kick.  Becky with a missile drop kick and Nia goes to the floor as if she was on a sevent second delay.  Becky with a baseball slide and Nia catches Becky off the apron and hits a Samoan drop on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Becky goes for a superplex but Nia blocks it.  Nia sends Becky face first to the mat and Nia hits a leg drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Nia stands over Becky and she sets for a punch but misses.  Becky goes for a uranage but Nia blocks it. Becky counters a side slam into a head scissors. Becky goes up top and gets a near fall.  Nia with a Samoan drop and she goes to the turnbuckles for the Bonsai Drop but Becky moves.  Becky goes for DisArmHer but Nia gets to her feet and Becky goes for a cross arm breaker.  Nia rolls to the floor.  Nia holds on to Becky and swings her into the ringside barrier.

Liv Morgan comes out and hits a forearm off the ringside barrier to Nia.

Winner:  Nia Jax (by disqualification)

After the match, Liv gets in the ring and has some words for Becky.  Becky stops Liv before she leaves the ring.  Nia trips Liv and pulls her to the floor.  Becky with a drop kick through the ropes.  Nia sends Becky into the ring post and she hits a leg drop on Liv.

Backstage:

Ricochet says that he has kept his mouth shut and that doesn’t get the bills paid. Adam says that Gunther wants to know who his next opponent is and he is ready to finalize things.  He tells Ricochet to wait around.

– Damian Priest tells Adam that JD wants a match against Gunther. Adam asks for their sales pitch and JD says to put him in the ring since he speaks through his actions.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Becky mocks Liv and she says she apologized to Liv already.  She did what she did last week to get back at Nia, not at you. Liv says that is typical Becky. Becky challenges Liv to a match next week and Liv accepts. Rhea Ripley comes up behind Becky and she laughs before walking away.

– We take a look at Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre with a video package.

We go to commercial.

– We are back with Adam Pearce. He says the Intercontinental Title has a rich legacy.  It has been a challenge to find an opponent for Gunther.  He says he has found six men who have an opportunity.  Sami Zayn, Ricochet, and Shinsuke Nakamura as former champions.  JD McDonagh and Bronson Reed are also competitors.  The final man is Chad Gable.  There will be a gauntlet match next week to see who faces Gunther at Wrestlemania.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Apollo Crews

They shake hands and lock up.  They go to a stalemate.  They lock up and Crews with a side head lock.  Crews with a shoulder tackle but it barely moves Andrade.  Andrade with a boot to the head.  Crews with a drop kick.  Andrade with a chop but he misses a second one.  Crews with a chop and Irish whip that sends Andrade to the apron.  Crews punches Andrade on the turnbuckles.  Andrade with a head butt but he feels it more than Crews.  Crews with a chop and Crews goes to the turnbuckles.  Crews sets for a superplex and he hits it and he rolls through and holds on but Andrade with a suplex of his own.  Andrade holds on and then hits two more to do the Three Amigos for a near fall.  Crews with an enzugirii and Andrade with an arm drag.  Andrade with a back elbow for a near fall.  Andrade with a running double knee strike in the corner and a hammer lock DDT for the three count.

Winner:  Andrade El Idolo

Backstage:

We go to Jackie Redmond with Sami Zayn. She asks Sami about the gauntlet next week. 

Sami says you have seen the highs and the lows on the journey.  Sami says he has that belief that a path to Wrestlemania will present itself.  He says he wants to do something historic.  Now that it has arrived, it is the only path for him to get to Wrestlemania and face the most dominant champion.  Sami says this is his path to Wrestlemania.   He says this is a do or die match.

Ivar and Valhalla show up and she says she cannot believe that Sami is in this match instead of Ivar.  Ivar says he knows he can beat Gunther but Sami knows that he cannot beat Gunther. Sami says he knows that he can beat Ivar.  If you want to prove him wrong, you can meet him in that ring tonight. Ivar tells Sami he can forget about Wrestlemania because he won’t make it to next week.

We go to commercial.

– We have a graphic In Memory of Paul Vachon.

Backstage:

Indi and Candice are in the back and Indi says they will get a shot next time.  Candice says there might not be a next time. Natalya tells Tegan eliminating her at the Royal Rumble has hurt their chances.  Nattie says she is the veteran and they need to regroup. Candice says Nattie might be on to something and they need to forget about their manners.

Maxxine and Ivy show up and Maxxine says people go through rough patches and you will come out of this. Candice says she doesn’t need a pity party from someone who has only had three matches.  Candice walks away and Indi apologizes for Candice.

Damian Priest and Finn Balor vs. Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser

Finn and Kaiser start things off and they lock up.  Finn with forearms to the back and punches in the corner.  Finn is distracted by Vinci and Kaiser with a slap to Finn.  Kaiser punches Finn.  Kaiser sends Finn into the turnbuckles and Vinci tags in and connects with an elbow to the back of the head followed by an uppercut.  Vinci with a side head lock and Vinci with a sunset flip but Finn rolls through and hits a drop kick because other than Rey Mysterio, you don’t sunset flip Finn Balor.  Priest tags in and he sends Vinci into the turnbuckles and he punches Vinci in the corner.   Priest with a boot to Kaiser and a punch.  Priest with an Irish whip and he misses an elbow into the corner when Kaiser moves.  Priest with an elbow and Kaiser punches Priest.  Finn kicks Kaiser in the back when the referee was not looking.  Priest with a forearm to Kaiser and then he kicks Vinci off the apron.

Finn tags in and they hit a series of moves concluding with a scissors kick for a near fall.  Finn with an abdominal stretch.  Finn is sent into the turnbuckles and Vinci and Kaiser with the combination drop kicks.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Finn with an elevated elbow drop and both men are down.  Vinci tags in and he drop kicks Priest off the apron .  Kaiser and Vinci with a high/low combination and Vinci gets a near fall.  Vinci chokes Finn in the ropes.  Vinci with a slam and an elbow drop for a near fall.  Vinci with a nerve hold on Finn.  Vinci blocks a boot and connects with a clothesline.  Kaiser tags in and he punches Finn.  Vinci with a running kick to Finn and he gets a near fall.  Finn punches Kaiser but Kaiser with knees.  Finn with a kick to Kaiser and he knocks Vinci off the apron.  Kaiser with an uppercut and Finn with a Pele kick. 

Finn makes the tag to Priest and he punches Kaiser a few times.  Priest boxes the hears and hits a leaping flatliner.  Priest sends Vinci face first ot the mat.  Priest with elbows into the corner on both men.  Priest sends Vinci over the top rope to the floor.  Priest with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall.

Priest sets for a Razor’s Edge but Kaiser escapes.  Finn makes the blind tag and Kaiser with a rollup on Priest.  Finn with a rollup on Kaiser for a near fall followed by sling blade.  Vinci grabs Finn’s ankle and Kaiser with a rolling Death Valley Driver.  Finn counters a toss into a delayed suplex into an inside cradle but Kaiser pushes Vinci over for a near fall.  Finn with sling blade and a running drop kick.  Finn goes up top and hits Coup de Grace but Kaiser breaks up the cover.  Priest grabs Kaiser and he pulls Kaiser over the top rope to the floor. Priest tags in and he pulls down the ropes for Balor to hit a flip dive.  VInci with a rollup for a near fall.  Priest with a clothesline and South of Heaven for the three count.

Winners:  Finn Balor and Damian Priest

– Michael Cole mentions the announcement of Paul Heyman as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Backstage:

Jackie Redmond is with Drew McIntyre. She asks Drew if Seth listened to anything he said.  Drew says Seth is a junkie.  He is a spotlight junkie.  He cannot help himself.  His responsibilities are on Raw, but he sees something hot and he has to latch his hands over there.  He wonders why Seth has been around CM Punk, Cody, and Roman.  Drew says he doesn’t care as long as Seth shows up at Wrestlemania.  The title deserves better than Seth.  Drew says he wanted an apology from Jey but he will apologize since Jey has no chance to win tonight.

We go to commercial.

– Rhea Ripley walks up to Iyo Sky and she tells Iyo to stay out of her territory. Iyo scoffs at Rhea and leaves with Kairi, Asuka, and Dakota.

Ivar vs. Sami Zayn

They lock up and Ivar pushes Sami away.  They lock up and Ivar sends Sami to the mat and he poses.  Sami with a waist lock and he misses a boot and Ivar with a cartwheel.  Ivar with a power slam for a near fall.  Ivar with a forearm to the head and kick.  Ivar rakes at the face.  Ivar with an elbow to the top of the head.  Sami with punches and he springboards over Ivar and sends Ivar over the top rope to the floor. Sami with a flip dive onto Ivar. Sami goes for an exploder into the turnbuckles but Ivar blocks it with an elbow.  Ivar blocks a tornado DDT and he send Sami over teh top rope to the floor.  Ivar with a cannonball off the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ivar with forearms to the back and he sets for a belly-to-back superplex but Sami counters and gets a lateral press for a near fall.  Ivar blocks a Blue Thunder Bomb and he backs Sami into the corner. Sami hits the tornado DDT and he sets for the Helluva Kick but Ivar stops Sami with a Spin Kick of Doom followed by a sit out Tiger Driver for a near fall.  Ivar puts Sami on the turnbuckles and Ivar with chops.  Ivar goes to the turnbuckles and Sami with forearms and a sunset flip power bomb for a near fall.  Ivar with a slap to the head and Sami goes for the exploder into the corner but Ivar blocks it.  Sami with windmill punches and he hits the exploder into the turnbuckles.  Sami sets for the Helluva Kick but Ivar with a seated splash.  Ivar goes up top for the moonsault but Sami moves. Sami with a Helluva Kick for the three count.

Winner:  Sami Zayn

After the match, Bronson Reed attacks Sami from behind and he goes up top for Tsunami and he connects.

Backstage:

Cathy Kelley is with Gunther. Gunther thanks Cathy for congratulating him on his victory.  Gunther mentions Dom standing up to him and putting up a challenge. She asks about the stacked gauntlet next week. Gunther says he is flattered because he has raised the prestige of the title.  They are going to earn a spot to be humiliated and outclassed.

Chad Gable shows up and he says he is so sick of that condescending smile on his face.  He cannot deal with what happened after their match to make his daughter cry.  It is his path to redemption.  He says he is going to take that title off Gunther’s waist.  He is going to take that smile from Gunther and put it on his daughter’s face.  This match means more to him. Gunther laughs and walks away.

Backstage:

Jey Uso is bouncing in the back and he tells Drew for weeks, he has heard him cry and complain waiting for an apology.  Jey says he is sorry for what he is about to do to Drew tonight.  If there is anything you are going to find out about him is that Jey don’t play.

We got o commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and people are playing WWE 2K24 in ROOM on MONITOR. Truth talks about playing as his hero John Cena with Shawn Michaels.  Miz says he looked at their ways to get back at THE Judgment Day.  Miz says they need to take their tag titles.

– Next week, Becky Lynch faces Liv Morgan.  Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark will face Kairi Sane and Asuka for the tag titles.  We will also have the Number One Contender Gauntlet.

Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre

Jey punches Drew and Drew is sent to the apron by Jey.  Jey kicks Drew off the apron to the floor.  Jey sends Drew into the announce table but Drew tosses Jey over the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Drew punches Jey on the apron.  Jey with a kick to Drew.  Jey goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall.  Jey with punches and Drew with an Irish whip.  Jey tries to float over and Drew with a kick for a near fall.  Drew with punches to Jey followed by a kick.  Jey with a head butt to the midsection and Drew with a back elbow.  Drew with chops and he puts Jey on the turnbuckles.  Drew with another chop and then he sets for a Super Air Raid Crash and Jey escapes and he tries for a power bomb and hits it and Jey gets a near fall.  Jey goes up top for a frog splash and Drew gets his feet up.  Drew with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Drew with a chop and punches.  Drew clotheslines Jey over the top rope to the floor.  Drew looks at the announce table and he suplexes Jey on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Drew punches Jey against the ringside barrier.  Drew runs Jey into the ringside barrier and then into the apron.  He does the pattern again.  Jey has trouble getting to his feet and Drew goes for a slam but Jey escapes and sends Drew into the turnbuckles.  Drew runs into Jey’s boots in the corner.  Jey with punches and he connects with a spitball punch.  Jey avoids a back body drop and lands gingerly but hits a thrust kick.  Jey with a Samoan drop for a near fall.  Jey sets for a running hip and he hits it.  Jey sets for another one but Drew goes ot the floor.  Jey with a suicide dive and he sends Drew back into the ring.  Jey goes up top.

Solo Sikoa comes tthrough the crowd and Jey leaps over Drew when Drew moves.  Drew with a Future Shock for a near fall. 

Cody Rhodes’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring to stop Solo.  Cody sends Solo into the ring steps.

Cody and Solo fight into the crowd.

Drew sets for a Claymore and Jey with a super kick and a second one.  Jey with a third super kick followed by a spear.  Jey goes up top and he sees Jimmy in front of the announce table.

Jey turns around into a Claymore for the three count.

Winner:  Drew McIntyre

Jimmy has a chair as he ignores the announcers. Jimmy is about to do something but Seth Rollins’ music plays and he comes ot the ring and super kicks the chair into Jimmy.

Drew with a Claymore to Seth.

We go to credits.
