CJ Perry and Miro are Getting Divorced – CJ Perry and Miro, formerly known as Lana and Rusev in WWE, have decided to part ways after an “on-again, off-again” relationship. The split reportedly occurred late last year, in the winter of 2023.
In a statement to TMZ, Perry confirmed the news, expressing that they have chosen to “move on as friends” after many years together. She also hinted at the possibility of reuniting as on-screen characters somewhere down the road, which offers a glimmer of hope for fans who have enjoyed their chemistry both in and out of the ring.
The couple originally tied the knot in 2016 and has been a prominent presence on-screen, particularly in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since Perry’s debut with the company last year. However, Miro has been absent from in-ring competition since AEW Worlds End, while Perry faced a health setback in December when she was hospitalized with an infection, temporarily halting her in-ring activities as well.
Prior to their stint in AEW, the duo captured the hearts of fans as Rusev and Lana in WWE, where their on-screen chemistry and dynamic performances left a lasting impact on the wrestling world.
While it’s always disappointing to see a relationship come to an end, fans will undoubtedly continue to support both Perry and Miro in their respective careers, whether it’s inside or outside the squared circle.
