
WWE Recruits Indie Wrestler as SmackDown Creative Team’s Assistant – According to BodySlam.net, independent pro wrestler Patrick Scott has been hired by WWE to serve as a writer’s assistant for the SmackDown creative team.
Scott is set to begin his new role in the coming week. He hinted at this development in a recent post on social media, expressing gratitude and hinting at more details to come: “I’ll have a lot more to say in the coming days. For now, I will just say this…Thank you.”
Patrick Scott trained in North Carolina at the Carolina Wrestling Academy, and was trained by Steve Corino, Jakob Hammermeier, Zane Dawson, and Dave Dawson. Making his pro debut in 2016.
He has previously appeared on the September 17th, 2017 episode of WWE NXT where he teamed with Demitrius Bronson in a tag match that was won by Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight). Scott returned to WWE TV in 2018 during the April 11th episode of WWE NXT in a losing effort to Kona Reeves.
Patrick Scott is a former Deadlock Pro Wrestling World’s Tag Team Champion along with his partner Chance Rizer, and is also a two time PWF Unified Tag Team Champion.
