WWE Announces Return to Italy for May Live Event – WWE fans in Italy have reason to celebrate as the company is set to make a return to the country after more than five years. WWE announced today that they will be holding a house show in Bologna, Italy, on Wednesday, May 1. This event marks WWE’s first live show in Italy in over half a decade and is sure to be a thrilling experience for fans in the region.
The event is scheduled to take place at the UNIPOL Arena in Bologna, providing an exciting opportunity for Italian fans to witness their favorite WWE Superstars in action. With WWE’s Backlash premium live event scheduled in France just a few days later on Saturday, May 4, the Italy house show adds to the excitement surrounding WWE’s European tour.
Fans attending WWE Live in Bologna, Italy, will see their favorite WWE Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown in action including ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Randy Orton, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso, and many more.
Tickets and VIP packages – including Meet & Greet opportunities with WWE Superstars – go on sale this Friday, February 16.
This will be the first time WWE has been to Italy since a 2018 house show tour.
WWE is coming to Germany this August for SmackDown and its Bash in Berlin PLE. Those shows are being held on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31.
