The Good Brothers Wreak Havoc on NXT – Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, collectively known as The OC or The Good Brothers, made a surprise appearance on the February 20 episode of WWE NXT, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
Following Chase U’s Andre Chase & Duke Hudson’s victory over Axiom & Nathan Frazer, earning them the number-one contender spot for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship, Gallows & Anderson stormed the scene. Without hesitation, they swiftly dispatched all four competitors along with Riley Osbourne, who was accompanying Chase University.
The segment culminated in Gallows and Anderson delivering their trademark Magic Killer maneuver, followed by a symbolic “too sweet” gesture, much to the excitement of the NXT Universe.
Despite being members of the WWE Friday Night SmackDown roster, Gallows and Anderson have been embroiled in recent conflicts, particularly with their fellow OC member, AJ Styles. Tensions escalated when Styles delivered a slap to Anderson on the February 16th episode of WWE SmackDown.
Despite their illustrious careers and numerous tag team championship victories across various promotions, including WWE, IMPACT, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Gallows and Anderson have yet to capture the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship.
Currently, the NXT Tag Team titles are held by Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker. Interestingly, Breakker will not only have to contend with Gallows and Anderson on Tuesday nights, as he recently found himself drafted to WWE Friday Night SmackDown, setting the stage for potentially explosive encounters across both brands.
