Austin Theory Confronts ‘West Australian’ Journalist – Austin Theory and Grayson Waller have had enough of these Australian journalists.
Stemming off of Grayson Waller’s confrontation with an Australian morning show host in January, Austin Theory got into a heated confrontation with The West Australian Editor-In-Chief Anthony De Ceglie while promoting WWE Elimination Chamber coming to Perth, Australia on February 24, 2024.
The confrontation, came after wrestling with once again called “fake.”
“You brought me here and you’re going to talk to me like this?” he said. “Just cause you’re in charge of some s… doesn’t mean you can talk to me like this.
“You’re saying what I do is easy and you’re in front of all of your people talking about my job is easy … you couldn’t walk a damn day in my shoes. Are you kidding me, man? I will smack the s… outta you right now.”
Waller, who is regularly teaming with Theory on WWE SmackDown, would later take to Twitter and note that he wants to organize a tag team match pitting A-Town Down Under against ‘Dumb Aussie journos.’
The official website of the West Australian noted that an on-site staff member “Kay Fabe” feared that a genuine fight would break out.
“I was seriously worried about what was going to happen,” they said.
