2/27 NXT Results – We are live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL, as Ilja Dragunov makes his way to the ring to start the show.

He settles in the ring with his title over his shoulder and a microphone in his hand. He addresses Carmelo Hayes and immediately calls him out, saying he isn’t in the mood to wait all night because this is Stand & Deliver season.

Hayes’ theme hits and out he comes with a mic-in hand. He stops at the top of the stage. He says Dragunov is the champ, but he’s the guy who calls the shots. He points out an entire line full of security guards. He calls them ‘Melo Security. He asks if Dragunov is still mad that he got tricked out by Hayes.

Carmelo says he’s not stepping in the ring with Ilja until he sees a contract, until Ava makes it official. He says Dragunov is the type of guy to try and take him out before the match. He says he’ll give him until the end of the night to get everything in order. Dragunov starts beating up Melo Security to end the segment.

– NXT G.M. is shown walking backstage when she is approached by Gigi Dolin. She wants to talk about her future. They walk into Ava’s office together, where Jaida Parker is already standing. She wants to talk about her future as well. The two have words while Ava watches. She makes a match between the two for tonight.

Kelani Jordan vs. Kiana James

They lock up and James backs Jordan into the corner and Jordan escapes.  Jordan with a wrist lock and James with a reversal and arm wringer.  Jordan goes to the ropes for a springboard flip and arm drag.  Jordan with another arm drag and James goes to the floor.  Izzi gets between Jordan and James and then Jordan with an Asai Moonsault onto Izzi and James.  Jordan sends James back into the ring and she gets a near fall.  Jordan with a cros body for a near fall.  Jordan with an Irish whip and James with an Irish whip.  Jordan tries to float over but James catches Jordan and sends her face first to the mat.  Jordan rolls to the floor.  James sends Jordan into the apron and she chops Jordan.  James runs Jordan’s back into the apron.  Jordan with a forearm and punch but James with a knee to the midsection and she sends Jordan into the turnbuckles.  James with a back handspring and then she hits a shoulder into the corner and gets a near fall.

James chokes Jordan in the ropes in front of Izzi.  James with a forearm to the back.  Jordan with a rollup for a near fall.  Jordan with a back slide for a near fall.  James sends Jordan face first to the mat.  James with a gourdbuster for a near fall.  James with a seated abdominal stretch.  James with a knee to the midsection and then both women go for a cross body at the same time and both go down.  James with a forearm and Jordan responds with a forearm of her own.  They continue the exchange.  Jordan lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt.  Jordan with forearms followed by a cartwheel into a back elbow.  Jordan with a step over spin kick for a near fall.  Jordan with a handspring into a cross body and James catches Jordan.  Jordan with a flatliner for a near fall. 

James with a knee to the midsection and she sends Jordan to the apron.  Jordan with an apron and she flips into the ring.  James with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Jordan blocks a suplex and gets a near fall with an inside cradle.  Jordan has a kick blocked and Jordan is sent ot the apron.  Jordan with a kick and Izzi pulls Jordan off the apron on a springboard move.  James with Deal Breaker for the three count.

Winner:  Kiana James

– We take a look back at what happened last week with Lyra Valkyria after Shotzi’s injury.

– We see Roxanne in the locker room blaming Shotzi and her desire to take a shower for costing her a title match. Jakara Jackson shows up and talks about how Lash is already ready. Roxanne says Lash was in the right place at the right time, unlike Jakara. Roxanne attacks Jakara.

– The OC’s Good Brothers make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

The Good Brother vs. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe

Karl and Blade start things off and Karl with kicks in the corner.  Blade with a cartwheel and he hits a drop kick.  Enofe tags in and they hit a double drop toe hold and a double drop kick.  They hit a double drop kick on Gallows.  Enofe runs into a kick.  Karl with an Irish whip and Enofe floats over and hits a head scissors.  Blade tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle.  Enofe with a leap frog splash and Blade follows with a back senton off Edris’ back.  Gallows distracts Blade and Karl with a rake of the eyes.  Gallows tags in and he punches and kicks Blade and follows with a choke in the corner.  Gallows drops Blade on the top rope and he punches Blade.  Gallows with elbows and a reverse chin lock.  Blade with elbows and Gallows with a head butt.  Gallows with peek a boo uppercuts to Blade in the corner. 

Gallows with a boot to the head.  Karl tags in and he kicks Blade.  Karl with a reverse chin lock.  Blade with elbows and Karl with a forearm.  Blade with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Enofe with a tag and he drop kicks Gallows off the apron.  Enofe with forearms and a wraparound bulldog.  ENofe with a knee to Karl followed by a jackhammer.  Edris goes up top but Gallows sends Blade into the ring steps.  Edris kicks Gallows and he goes up top and misses a 450 splash but he lands on his feet and rolls through.  Karl with a spinebuster and Gallows tags in to hit Magic Killer for the three count.

Winners: The Good Brothers

After the match, Chase and Duke show up in the crowd and he says if you want to ruin their celebration, karma is a bitch.  Duke says their backs aren’t turned.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom interrupt the Ass Whooping.  Frazer says they are next for Gallows and Anderson.  They will confront you to your face. 

They fight on the apron and then Cruz and Wilde hit missile drop kicks on Gallows and Anderson.  Frazer, Axiom, Chase, and Hudson join Cruz and Wilde to send Gallows and Anderson to the floor.

– We see Bron and Baron standing on the HBalKony to watch.

– Ava is on the phone in her office.  She talks about Roadblock. Oba Femi enters and he says he wants to know the name of his next victim. Ava says there are many people who want to face Femi so she is trying to figure it out. Ilja enters as Femi prepares to leave. Ilja says she needs to talk.

Roxanne Perez vs. Jakara Jackson

Perez with a Thesz Press and punches.  Jackson goes to the floor and Lash moves her out of the way to avoid a dive by Perez.  Perez with a forearm and Jackson with a spinning kick on the apron.  Jackson sends Perez back into the ring and she hits a drop kick.  Jackson with punches in the corner and she chops Perez.  Perez sends Jackson into the turnbuckles and hits an uppercut followed by a chop.  Perez sends Jackson to the mat.  Perez with a double jump moonsault for a near fall.  Perez with a back heel kick and a front face lock.  Perez with a forearm to the back and she goes for Pop Rox but Lash pulls Jackson away nd the referee sends Lash to the back.

Perez grabs Jackson by the hair and Jackson with a reverse Edge-O-Matic for a near fall.  Jackson trips Perez and she spins her on the apron and connects with a forearm.  Jackson wit a double underhook and she stretches Perez and has her foot in Perez’ back.  Perez gets a near fall.  Perez with a slap and punches.  Perez with windmill punches and Perez with a running forearm and punch.  Perez with a drop kick.  Perez with a running uppercut into the corner.  Perez with a side Russian leg sweep into a crossface and Jackson taps out.

Winner:  Roxanne Perez

After the match, Perez takes her time releasing the hold.

– Thea is in the back with Jacy and Jazmy.  She says she called Riley back and he said that Thea was not how she expected on the date so they would be better as friends.  Jacy and Jazmyn talk about how ‘old’ Thea was a terrible person.   Jacy says that Chase and Duke are both losers.  She says she had to save the university.

Kiana and Izzi stop by and she talks about the calendars. Jacy mentions that Thea was looking for advice from Fallon and they laugh at it. They walk away and Thea wonders if she is a loser.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and Bron suggests that Baron add something to his jacket or get some tanning done. They see Luke and Karl in the back. Gallows says it will be easier than they thought to win the tag titles.  Karl says the flame has been reingnited.  It won’t take them eight months to win the titles. Baron brings up AJ slapping Karl. Baron says it is fun and games but when the bell rings they are all business. Luke says if they can get past Chase U, they will be waiting for them.

– We see the No Quarter Catch Crew in the gym preparing for their match against Noam Dar.

Dijak vs. Luca Crusifino

They lock up and Dijak with forearms.  Luca with punches and a forearm to the lower back.  Dijak misses a punch and Luca clotheslines Dijak over the top rope.  Luca with a baseball slide to send Dijak over the announce table.  Luca goes or a belly-to-back suplex but Dijak with punches.  Dijak with a back elbow .  Luca with a punch as Dijak comes off the turnbuckles.  Luca with a cannonball.  Dijak with a forearm to the back.  Dijak kicks Luca in the head.  Dijak with elbows in the corner.  Dijak chops Luca in the corner.  Dijak with more chops and Luca chops back.  It turns to slaps and Dijak with a thrust kick.  Dijak lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and Dijak with a clothesline.  Dijak sets for a choke slam but Luca with elbows and clotheslines.  Luca with a belly-to-back suplex.  Luca with a clothesline into the corner but Dijak with a cyclone kick and Feast Your Eyes for the three count.

Winner: Dijak

After the match, Joe Gacy’s music plays and he make his way to the ring.  Luca hits Dijak from behind with a crowbar and sends him over the top rope to the floor

– Tony tells Channing to get him but he has business to deal with.  Channing tells Tony that he’s got it.

– Lyra Valkyria walks in the back as we go to commercial.

– We are back and Kelly ambushes Noam and Oro in LOCKER ROOM. Kelly asks Noam who he would like to face tonight. Noam says they are ready for anything.  She says Jakara held her own against Roxanne and Lash almost won the title last week with no preparation.  He says the result will be the same.

– NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria makes her way to the ring.

Lyra says first thing first, she wants to wish Shotzi a speedy recovery.  She says when Shotzi comes back, she owes her a title shot.  She says Lash Legend showed up and stepped up last week.  She says she has the battle wounds to prove it.  She says she would be here as the NXT Women’s Champion and she keeps her promise.  She says she made a promise to Tatum if she stayed in the back and Lyra says she was surprised she stayed in the back.

Tafum Paxley makes her way to the ring and she says it is so good to see Lyra.  Tatum says last week was so hard.  Ava makes the open challenge so someone else could get near you.  You were in great danger of losing the title.

Lyra says Tatum did what she asked her to do. Tatum says she will do anything for Lyra.  She says she has proven her devotion…she says she has proven she is a woman of her world. Lyra tells Tatum it isn’t that type of surprise.  Next week, they will be teaming together. Tatum says they will be together forever. Lyra says they have a common goal and they will face The Kabuki Warriors for the tag titles. Tatum says they will be facing Asuka and Kairi Sane next week.

Ridge Holland makes his way to the ring. He apologizes for interrupting and he wishes them the best of luck next week.  He says if they are finished, he would like to have the ring to get something off his chest.

They leave the ring and Ridge thanks them.

Ridge says he is a man of action more than he is a man of words.  He says his actions have gotten him in this predicament.  He is the one who takes it too far.  Whether he likes it or not or if he understands it or not, he wants to apologize for his actions.  Ridge says he was defending himself and his family.  There was no malicious intent.

The lights go out.

The tron says Truth will ultimately prevail but there is pain which brings it to light. The lights go down again and they come back up. Ridge is attacked from behind and hit with a steel chair.

Shawn Spears reveals himself.

– Brooks Jensen confronts Oba Femi in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment and he tells Oba that he is his next opponent.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and Kelly is outside Carmelo’s door.  She says that Ava is preparing a contract for later tonight. Hayes says he wants Ilja out there and Ava with a contract so all he has to do is come out to sign it.  Hayes says if there is no contract, there is no Melo.

Lexis King vs. Von Wagner

They lock up and Wagner sends King into the turnbuckles.  Von with a back elbow and a shoulder tackle.  Wagner with a back body drop.  Von sets for a delayed vertical suplex and he hits it.  Von misses a knee in the corner and King with a drop kick to the knee.  King kicks the injured knee a few times to get Von to the mat.  Von misses a boot and his leg gets caught on the ropes.  King kicks the leg and hits an atomic drop to the knee and he hits a dragon screw.  King slams the leg into the apron and then wrings it into the ring post.  King gets a near fall.  King drives Von’s knee into the mat a few times.  King with a knee bar and Von kicks King to get out of the hold.  Von sets for a choke slam and he pushes King into the ropes and Von with punches.  King with a knee but it only angers Von.  Von with a big boot and he clotheslines King over the top rope to the floor.  Von punches King and connects with forearms.  King backs Von into Stone against the ringside barrier.

King clips Von and King with a running clothesline to the back of the head.  Stone distracts King, who releases Coronation.  Von with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Von Wagner

After the match, King attacks Von.  Stone grabs King by the hair and King hits Stone and then he gives Stone Coronation.

– We have a video package for Asuka and Kairi Sane.

– Lyra and Tatum are in LOCKER ROOM watching MONITOR. Tatum mentions that Lyra will be a double champion if they win. Jaida Parker says Kairi and Asuka are going to embarrass Lyra and Tatum. Arianna Grace says they need to handle things in a civilized manner.  She tells everyone that they are champions in their mind. Jaida says she would rather be a champion than wear a crown.

We go to commercial.

– We see Dijak and Ava arguing while Gacy watches from a distance.  He tells Dijak that Dijak might be finished with him but he isn’t finished with Dijak.  Gacy attacks Dijak.

Gigi Dolin vs. Jaida Parker

They lock up and Jaida with a waist lock take down.  Parker with a waist lock to Gigi but Gigi with a drop toe hold into a front face lock.  Jaida with an arm wringer and she gets a near fall.  Jaida wit a knee to the midsection.  Jaida slaps Gigi against the ropes.  Giga with a wrist lock take down and a running hip to the back and a drop kick against the ropes for a near fall.  Jaida with punches in the corner followed by some kicks.  Gigi with forearms but Jaida with a chop and knee.  Jaida puts Gigi in the ropes and connects with a springboard seated splash for a near fall.  Gigi counters a suplex with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Jaida with a blockbuster for a near fall.  Jaida with a head lock.  Gigi with punches but Jaida with a knee.  Jaida with an Irish whip but she runs into a knee.  Gigi with forearms

Arianna Grace comes out and she tries to get them to stop.

Gigi with a clothesline and a round kick.  Gigi misses a clothesline and Parker with chops.  Gigi with chops of her own.  Gigi with a kick to the knee and she connects with Kawada kicks.  Arianna blocks a punch and Gigi head butts Grace off the apron.  Parker hits Gigi fro behind and Parker with a punch for the three count.

Winner:  Jaida Parker

After the match, Grace tells Gigi they need to come together.

– We see Noam Dar walk in the back with his best friend and Oro Mensah.

– We see the No Quarter Catch Crew in the back.

We go to commercial.

– We are back with a view of the beach and ‘See You Soon’ is written in the sand.

– Next week, Joe Gacy faces Dijak in an Asylum Match. 

Noam Dar vs. Charlie Dempsey for the Heritage Cup Title

Round One

Dar with a wrist lock and Charlie with a reversal.  Dar with a reversal and he takes Charlie to the mat and applies an arm bar.  Charlie backs Dar into the roeps and Dar pushes Charlie away.  Dar iwth a kick ot the leg and to the chest as he avoids a punch from Dempsey.  Charlie with a cravate and Dar with knees.  Dar goes through the legs nd connects with a double thrust but Dar with a take down and he misses a round kick.  Dempsey falls over Dar and Dar iwth a rollup for a near fall.

Dar escapes Dempsey.  Charlie with a back slide and bridge for the three count.

Noam Dar: 0 Falls
Charlie Dempsey: 1 Fall

Round Two

Charlie with a running European uppercut and a gutwrench suplex for a near fall.    Charlie with a double wrist lock and take down into a wrist lock.  Dempsey with a wrist lock take down into a hammer lock.  Charlie sets for a crossface chicken wing but Dar fights out of it.  Dar with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow.  Dar kicks Dempsey on the ropes to send him to the mat.

Dar with kicks to the chest and a leg drip.  Dar with a Nova Roller into the ropes and the referee checks on Charlie.  Dar with elbows to the top of the head.  Dar goes to the turnbuckles and connects with more elbows.  Dar with a chin lock and a hip lock take down and a stomp to the arm.  Dar with a font face lock but Dempsey blocks a suplex.  Dar with forearms to the back.  Dempsey and Dar with punches as the round ends and they both get in a few shots after the round ends.

Round Three

Charlie and Dar exchange uppercuts and Dempsey with a back slide but Dar with a sleeper.  Dempsey goes for a cross arm breaker but Dar with punches to the back of the head.  Dar goes for a triangle.  Dar goes for the knee bar but Charlie blocks it.  Charlie with an ankle lock but Dar rolls through.  Dar with a rollup and he gets a near fall.  Charlie with a head butt to the midsection.

Charlie with a butterfly suplex and he floats over into a guillotine.  Charlie with a Fujiwara arm bar and then he gets a near fall.  Dar with a punch and a German suplex into a cross arm breaker.  Dempsey gets to the ropes to force a break.  Dar with punches to Charlie against the ropes.  Dar goes for a suplex but Charlie blocks it.  Dar goes for a knee bar.  Charlie with a German suplex but Dar with a spinning back elbow and the round ends.

Round Four

Dar with a forearm and a Northern Lights suplex.  Dar with a round kick and a running kick to the head for a three count.

Noam Dar: 1 Fall
Charlie Dempsey: 1 Fall

Round Five

Dar with a kick and he goes to the turnbuckles and connects with a kick and he gets a near fall.  Dar with a knee to the midsection.  Borne gets on the apron and Oro pulls him off the apron.  Oro is sent into the apron while Dar hits a back elbow.  Dar knocks Kemp off the apron and then he goes for a drop kick into the corner but Dempsey moves and Dar hits Gulak.  Dempsey with a German suplex for the three count.

Winner:  Charlie Dempsey (new champion)

– Ilja Dragunov walks in the back. Carmelo Hayes and his mantourage walk in the back.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and we see Shawn Spears in the parking lot and he is asked why did he hit Ridge Holland with the chair.  He says he likes Ridge Holland but he has been lying to himself.  He says that the truth can brring you to your knees and that is why he is here.

– Roxanne Perez leaves and she doesn’t want to talk to anyone.

– Next week Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin face Andre Chase and Duke Hudson.  Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley face Asuka and Kairi Sane.

– Ilja Dragunov is in the ring and he paces back and forth.

Carmelo Hayes makes his way to the ring with his ‘security’ contingent. 

Ava is also in the ring sitting at TABLE to have CONTRACT signed.

Hayes says this is more like it.  We have the contract and the boss is here.  They are speaking the same language.  Hayes says that he had to bring out the security for his protection.  Hayes says it is time to get things signed so he can be reuinited with his title.

Ilja says he realized Carmelo’s willingness to discard anyone and anything for the title.

Hayes says it is strange to hear Ilja say that when Ilja said he would take Carmelo’s soul.  He says he is just colder than Ilja.

Tony D’Angelo, Channing Lorenzo, and Adrianna Rizzo make their way to the ring.

Tony enters the ring and he says if you are talking about big business, he needs to be involved.

Hayes says Tony better not say another word or he will have his security take care of Tony. Tony says there is only one Don and the security walks away. Tony takes Ava’s seat and Hayes is confused.

Tony says he can’t be the only one who sees that the title has been filled by the Ilja/Carmelo/Trick situation.  There is only one man who can flip this on its head and that is him.

Tony tells Hayes not to speak when he is talking.  Tony says Melo has been talking about the title for a year  He tells Ilja he dresses like a champion and is intense, but a little too dramatic.  Tony says he is here to show the world that he is the man who wants to take the NXT Title from Ilja, not Hayes.  He says he earned everything he got and anyone who crossed him got everything they deserved.  Melo says he is demanding a title match, but Tony says he will earn a title match at Stand and Deliver.

Ilja says he can respect Tony.

Tony says Ava agrees if Ilja agrees.  Next week will be Carmelo Hayes versus Tony D’Angelo and the winner faces Ilja at Stand and Deliver.

Ava tells Ilja that he has to agree to this.

Ilja says there is something he would like to see more than Melo earning something on his own for the first time.  He says Tony has his match and Ilja tells Tony to Whoop that Melo.

Hayes wants to know why Ava is allowing this.  Hayes says that Tony can’t beat him.  Hayes says if we need someone to take out the trash or do bookkeeping at some washed out school, you can do that job.  Hayes pushes Tony into Ilja and Hayes with a belly-to-back suplex to Tony through the table.

The contract is signed.

We go to credits.
