The Young Bucks Return, Challenge Sting and Darby Allin For Sting’s Retirement Match – Former multi-time tag team champions The Young Bucks returned during tonight’s Homecoming edition of AEW Dynamite from Daily’s Place, their first appearance since they lost to Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho at Full Gear.
Sting and Darby Allin headlined the show. They battled Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Ric Flair got involved in the chaotic bout, as he chopped Powerhouse Hobbs and poked him in the eyes. Allin later dove off part of the stage onto Takeshita. In the end, Sting clinched the win with a Scorpion Death Drop through a table to Hobbs.
The brothers came out right when Tony Schiavone was interviewing Sting and asked The Icon who he thinks he’ll wrestle in his retirement matchup at Revolution this March.
While not official, The Bucks staring Sting and Darby Allin down indicate that they will be those opponents.
