Ratings for 1/5 WWE SmackDown & AEW Rampage – 1/5 WWE SmackDown averaged 2.465 million viewers on FOX, which is up from 1.355 million viewers last week, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.67 rating, up from the 0.28 rating a week ago.
Last week was a best-of show, while this week was the New Year’s Resolution special with a stacked lineup and appearances by Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. This was the highest ratings the show has done since The Rock’s appearance on September 15th.

- 12/15/23: 2,240,000 viewers – 0.55 key demo rating – Roman Reigns appearance
- 12/22/23: 2,108,000 viewers – 0.55 key demo rating
- 12/29/23: 1,355,000 viewers – 0.28 key demo rating – Best-of show
- 1/5/24: 2,465,000 viewers – 0.67 key demo rating – New Year’s Resolution
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 406,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET timeslot on Friday. This was Rampage’s highest ratings since October 13th.
Last week in the same timeslot, the show drew 326,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the news.
Mark Briscoe & The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) vs. Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade, Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale in tag action, Hikaru Shida vs. Anna Jay, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta vs. Komander, and more were among the matches featured on the show.
