Big E Doesn’t Have a Timetable for an In-ring Return – Former WWE Champion Big E, who suffered a serious neck injury in March 2022, has provided an update on his in-ring return. Unfortunately, there is still no timetable for his comeback.
The injury occurred during the March 11, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown when Big E took an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland at ringside, landing on his neck and fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae.
Since the injury, Big E has been involved in various roles for WWE, serving as an ambassador and working with recruits for the NIL program.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Big E shared that his neck is healing, and “the bones are connected to the other bones.” However, he emphasized the importance of making a prudent decision regarding his return, expressing concerns about potential long-term consequences. He stated, “I didn’t start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair. So, I want to make sure I’m making the best decision for myself. I don’t have a timeline, unfortunately, so thank you for asking.”
Fans will continue to await further updates on Big E’s recovery and potential return to the wrestling ring, and in the meantime, they appreciate his commitment to prioritizing his health and making informed decisions about his future in the sport.
