1/1 WWE RAW Day 1 Results – We are live from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA, where Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are in the ring and Cole says tonight will be a monumental night. They talk about the two title matches. Cole mentions the tweet from Triple H and he confirms a former champion is returning tonight.
Nia Jax vs. Becky Lynch
They start off with words for each other and Nia pushes Becky. Becky with a punch. NIa mises a punch and Becky goes for a uranage but Nia escapes. Becky with a back elbow and she comes off the turnbuckles but Nia catches Becky. Becky escapes a Samoan drop and hits an enzuigiri. Nia with a slam. Nia with a splash into the corner. Nia with an elbow drop and she chokes Becky in the ropes. Becky wtih a jaw breaker and kick. Nia misses a splash into the corner. Becky with punches and forearms. Becky with a European uppercut and kick. Nia catches Becky and puts her in a bear hug. Becky goes for a sunset flip but Nia stays on her feet. She misses a leg drop. Becky with a leg lariat for a near fall.
Becky with a forearm into the corner. Nia blocks an exploder and sends Becky into the turnbuckles. Becky with Diamond Dust and a drop kick that sends Nia into the turnbuckles. Nia sends Becky to the apron and Becky with a forearm. Becky goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Becky walks over Nia to go to the turnbuckles. Becky misses a double stomp and rolls through. NIa with a Samoan drop for a near fall. Nia gets Becky up and goes to the turnbuckles. Becky counters with a sunset flip power bomb, but Nia kicks out and sends Becky into the turnbuckles. Becky with punches and she goes for DisArmHer but Nia pushes Becky away and hits a shoulder tackle. Nia with a leg drop for a near fall.
Becky rolls to the apron and Becky kicks Nia in the ropes and hits a round kick. Becky goes up top and Nia stops her with a forearm. Nia goes up and sets for a superplex but Becky blocks her. Becky sends Nia to the mat and Becky with a Molly Go Round for a near fall. Nia sends Becky throat first into the ropes. Nia goes to the apron but misses a leg drop on the apron. Becky with a baseball slide and she tries for a forearm off the apron but Nia with a punch to the midsection. Nia winds up for a punch but Becky moves and Nia punches the ring post. Nia with a kick but she misses a cannonball against the ringside barrier. Becky returns to the ring and Nia gets back in at very close to ten.
Becky goes to the turnbuckles and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Becky applies DisArmHer. Nia counters with a rollup for a near fall. Becky with a cross arm breaker and Nia rolls over and hits the obligatory one arm sit out power bomb. Nia gets a near fall. Nia puts Becky against the turnbuckles for the Bansai Drop but Becky escapes and she goes to the turnbuckles for a super uranage but Nia blocks it. Nia with a Super Samoan Drop for a near fall. Nia slams Becky’s head into the mat. Nia goes to the turnbuckles again and Becky sends Nia to the apron. Becky with European uppercut and a back heel kick. Becky wtih forearms and the referee stops her. Nia with an uppercut as Becky comes off the turnbuckles.
Nia goes to the turnbuckles and hits the Bonsai Drop for the three count.

– We take a look back at Nakamura’s story time from two weeks ago.
– Cody Rhodes walks in the back as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
We are back and Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody asks the crowd what do they want to talk about. Cody says he has the honor to be the first to welcome everyone to a special episode of Raw. People like to talk about their goals and Cody says he is a little stuck. Cody says he is stuck on Shinsuke Nakamura. Cody says Nakamura is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. After his rendition of Twas the Night Before Christmas, he was expecting something more sophisticated. He is not stuck on what Nakamura said about his family or blinding him with the mist. Cody says he is stuck because this should be over.
Cody says he is going to give Nakamura the opportunity to finish it tonight. He tells Nakamura to being his poison mist and poison words to try to stop Cody from where he is going to be. He says this stops now.
Nakamura is on the Tron and he tells Cody he never thought it would be this easy to get in his head and become the author of Cody’s final chapter. He says he whispered the plot in his ear. He says he pushed Cody to the brink. I blinded you so you could not see the ending. Your story does not end tonight. HE says he wants to give the American Nightmare one more week to dream. Nakamura says he becomes what Cody could never be. Nakamura finishes his story and closes his book.
Nakamura mists the camera.
Nakamura’s music plays while Cody looks around the ring.
– We take a look back at the attack by Imperium on Kofi Kingston, and the save by Jey Uso.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and CM Punk will be on Raw next week.
Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso vs. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci
Vinci and Kofi start things off and they lock up. Vinci with a hammer lock and wrist lock. Kofi with an escape and splash for a near fall. Kofi with an arm bar. Vinci with a punch and a running cross body. Vinci kicks Kofi and he connects with a forearm. Kaiser tags in and he punches Kofi. Kofi with chops and forearms. Kaiser with a knee to the midsection. Kofi gets a boot up but Kaiser blocks it and hits the Nein Punch. Kaiser kicks Kofi in the corner. Kofi with a drop kick and Kaiser goes to the floor. Vinci trips Kofi and Kaiser sends Kofi shoulder first into the ring post. Vinci tags in and they hit the double drop kick combination.
Vinci hot shots Kofi on the edge of the announce table and rolls Kofi back into the ring. Kaiser mocks Kofi’s clap. Kofi with punches but Vinci with a knee. Vinci with a spinebuster and Kaiser tags in. Kaiser with a running kick to the chest. Kaiser uses his boots to rake Kofi’s eyes and then he taunts Jey. Kaiser with an Irish whip and a running back elbow. Kaiser with a kick and a butterfly suplex for a near fall. Kaiser with a wrist lock and Kofi with punches. Kofi with a jaw breaker but Kaiser keeps Kofi from making the tag. Kaiser pulls Kofi down by the hair and Vinci tags in. Vinci catapults Kofi’s throat into the bottom rope and Vinci gets a near fall.
Vinci with a punch to Kofi . Kofi with a punch and chop followed by a head butt. Vinci with a kick. Vinci comes off the turnbuckles and is met with a drop kick from Kofi. Both men are down and the referee checks on Vinci. THe medical staff checks on Kaiser and the referee calls for the bell when Jey tags in.
Winners: Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston (by referee stoppage)
After the match, the medical staff continues to check on Vinci.
– Michael Cole mentions the WWE Holiday Tour over the last week. We have a video package.
– Miz makes his way to the ring for MizTV.
We go to commercial.
– We are back with a look at Ivy Nile with a video package.
Ivy says she has always been considered the underdog and she says she loves it. She says she loves that people doubt her. That means it makes it so much sweeter when she beats the odds. She pushes herself every day and it brought her to this point. When she overthrows Rhea to become the new Women’s Champion, everybody will see that this pitbull is a different breed,
We see Ivy in the back with Diamond Mine and Alpha Academy.
The Miz TV:
Miz wishes everyone a Happy New Year and he welcomes everyone to MizTV. He says this is going to be good. He says there are a lot of rumors about the former WWE Champion showing up and he has his speculation, but he wants to bring out his guests. Miz brings out THE Judgment Day.
The music for THE Judgment Day plays but then it turns into R Truth’s music and he makes his way to the ring.
Truth wants to know ‘what’s up’. Miz introduces him as the most likable member of THE Judgment Day.
Miz asks Truth where is the rest of the group.
Truth says they were behind him and Miz asks if he is seeing invisible people again. Truth asks if Little Jimmy is here and Miz says he isn’t.
Truth says he has been waiting all year to say All Rise for the Judgment Day.
Miz asks Truth what is his role in THE Judgment Day.
Truth says he has many roles in THE Judgment Day. Today, he is doing PR work. Last week, he was doing administrative work. They have a bad resume so he is trying to make THE Judgment Day likeable to everybody.
JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio come out and JD says this has to end tonight. He says no one in the group would be seen on MizTV.
Dom starts to talk and the crowd boos. Dom says they are the most dominant faction in WWE.
Truth says Dom is getting booed in his own home town. Truth reminds JD of last week’s match so JD is not part of THE Judgment Day.
Miz says Truth made a good point. Since JD lost last week, the stipulation was loser leaves THE Judgment Day. He wants to know what JD is doing out here.
Dom asks Miz if he wants to talk about losers. Dom says Miz spent 2023 on his back getting destroyed by Gunther.
Miz apologizes and he says 20,000 people are booing Dom and he can’t hear Dom even with a microphone. Miz says he is more relevant than ever. He keeps going and he continues to make moments that last a lifetime. Miz says the only thing he remembers about Dom from last year is him being spanked by his daddy, dragged around by Mami, and beaten by CM Punk.
Dom says he is done talking. They are going to continue Miz’ losing streak in a tag match.
Truth wants to know who he is tagging with and Miz reminds Truth that they are a team. Truth says this is a ‘Strange Bedfellows’ match and he will follows Dom and team with Miz. He says THE Judgment Day accepts.
Miz clotheslines JD over the top rope and Dom goes to join JD.
We go to commercial.
Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh vs. Miz and R Truth
The match is joined in progress and Miz with a clothesline. Truth tags in but he is not in the right corner so the referee disallows it. JD hits Miz from behind and tags in. They hit a double back elbow for a near fall. Miz lands on his feet and he kicks JD. Miz with a head scissors take down. Miz wants to tag in Truth. Miz with a snap mare and kick followed by a leg drop. JD with a kick and Irish whip but he runs into a back elbow. Truth with a punch and he tries for a slam. JD gets to his feet. Truth with a twisting flying forearm. Truth with a splash and a splash into the corner. Truth gets a near fall. Truth wants to tag in Dom because he is confused. JD with a forearm and elbow. Truth is choked in the ropes by JD.
Dom tags in and hits a 619. Truth falls to the floor. Dom with a slingshot senton for a near fall when Truth gets his hand on the ropes. JD tags in and he hits a suplex for a near fall. JD chokes Truth in the corner. Truth with punches but JD with a forearm. JD with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock. JD with a reverse chin lock. Truth punches JD and JD goes for a sleeper but Truth escapes it. Truth with a sleeper and JD with a jaw breaker. Miz tags in and he punches JD a few times. Miz with more punches. Miz with a punch and kick from the apron to JD followed by a boot to Dom on the apron. Miz with a springboard clothesline for a near fall.
Truth and Dom are in the same corner. Miz with an Acid Drop for a near fall. Miz sends Dom to the floor. JD with a head butt and Truth wants the tag from JD and JD tags him in but he then realizes he tagged in Truth. JD and Truth argue over who is in THE Judgment Day. JD tells Truth to hit Miz if he is in THE Judgment Day. Truth winds up and he misses Miz and punches JD. Miz kicks Dom to the floor. Miz is given JD for a Skull Crushing Finale and the three count.

– We take a look back at Kayden Carter and Katana Chance winning the Women’s Tag Titles. We take a look at their celebration at CLUB when Chelsea Green and Piper Niven show up. Piper tells them not to be comfortable with the titles. Chelsea says they are going to Nick Aldis for a rematch. Katana and Kayden say they are willing to go to Pearce for a rematch and then they throw drinks in Chelsea’s face.
Back to commercial.
Ivy Nile vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s Championship
They lock up and Rhea sends Ivy face first into the mat. Ivy gets Rhea up on her shoulders but Rhea escapes and drop kicks Ivy. Rhea with an Irish whip and Ivy floats over. Ivy with a forearm. Rhea with an Irish whip and she runs into a boot. Ivy avoids a splash but Ivy is sent to the apron. Ivy with a forearm and she goes up top for a cross body and she gets a near fall. Rhea with a thrust kick. Rhea with some words for Ivy and a forearm to the back. Rhea with more forearms. Ivy with a head scissors take down and she avoids a running boot. Ivy with a t-bone suplex and Rhea goes to the floor.
Rhea charges at Ivy and Ivy drops down so Rhea goes over the top rope to the floor. Ivy sends Rhea into the apron. Rhea with punches and forearms on the floor and she gets Ivy on her shoulders and drops her face first onto the apron. Rhea with a kick to the back. Rhea with a forearm to the back. Rhea with more forearms to the lower back as she sends Ivy off the ropes. Ivy with a punch and jaw breaker. Rhea with a kick to the head for a near fall. Rhea with punches to IVy and a seated abdominal stretch. Rhea adds a claw to the ribs. Ivy gets to her feet and she connects with forearms. Rhea with a drop kick and Ivy falls to the floor. Rhea gets Ivy on her shoulders again but Ivy gets to her feet and hits a German suplex on the floor.
Ivy gets back in the ring and so does Rhea. Ivy with kicks to the leg followed by a dragon whip. Ivy with a head scissors take down and a running thrust kick and a Rough Ryder for a near fall. Ivy with a front face lock but Rhea with forearms and a knee. Ivy with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Ivy goes for a gutwrench but Rhea with a forearm. Ivy lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Rhea misses a splash but hits a head butt. Rhea goes up top for a missile drop kick and she gets a near fall. Rhea sets for RipTide but Ivy escapes.
Ivy with a round kick to the temple and a gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Ivy with a front face lock and she gets Rhea on her shoulders. Rhea escapes and hits a facebuster and clothesline. Rhea gets Ivy up and sends her face first into the mat for a near fall. Rhea sends Ivy into the turnbuckles and connects with a shoulder. Rhea puts Ivy on the turnbuckles and connects with a forearm. Rhea sets for a superplex but Ivy stops Rhea. Ivy with forearms on the turnbuckles followed by an attempted sunset flip power bomb but Rhea holds on to the ropes. Ivy sends Rhea’s head into the turnbuckles. Ivy goes to the ropes for a German superplex for a near fall.
Ivy with kicks to Rhea followed by forearms and more kicks. Ivy goes up top for a cross body but Rhea with a head butt and knee. Rhea with RipTide for the three count.

It’s time for the anticipated return of a former champion and he is… Jinder Mahal!
Jinder tells the crowd they have the audacity to be disappointed at his return. He says he is a once and future WWE Champion. Thousands have competed in this ring and fifty were WWE Champions. The only thing disappointing is what has become of the once great nation of the United States. This does not look united. You people have never been more divided. Ignorance and misinformation. Jinder says this country was a super power and now it is a joke. Jinder says he is a unifier. He tells everyone to shut up and listen.
Jinder speaks in Punjabi. He says finally, all of you are united. You booed your own national anthem in Punjabi. He says that is a new low. You boo him because he looks different and speaks different. Unlike the Iron Sheik and others who have exposed the US, he speaks with intelligence and class. Jinder says he speaks the truth. Jinder says he will speak in Punjabi about what the world thinks about him.
IF YOU SMEEEELLL… The Rock interrupts.
Rock says that Jinder is in trouble tonight. First, he wants to say that Jinder is right about one thing. You are not the Iron Sheik because he knows and loved the Iron Sheik. Rock plays the role of Iron Sheik if he was here tonight to insult Jinder.
Jinder says Rock magically appears when the WWE Universe is being insulted. He says Rock is the champion to you jingoistic people. Jinder says he would be ashamed of himself and disgusted if he represented these people.
Rock says he is not ashamed. He says he is damn proud to be the People’s champion. Rock says he is proud to be an American. Rock says FINALLY, he has come back to San Diego. Rock says the people are not booing Jinder because of how he looks or talks or that he speaks Punjabi.
Rock looks up for guidance from Sheik and he says he Jinder is the biggest asshole walking God’s green Earth. Rock says that angry face is what we are familiar with. We are used to resting bitch face. This is raging asshole face. He asks Jinder why is he angry all the time. It has to be because no one likes you and you aren’t funny. If you were one of Rock’s movies, you would be Baywatch.
Jinder says he didn’t watch Baywatch and Rock says not to interrupt him and no one watched it. Rock asks again and Rock throws out the IT DOESN’T MATTER. Rock says this country isn’t a joke to him, the people in the building, or everyone watching at home.
Rock says it isn’t a joke that you can run this country down without consequences. You can’t come out in the people’s ring with the People’s champion in the building and get away with no consequences. You might be the Modern Day Maharaja. Now you are the Day One Douchebag. You say you are the unifier, but Rock will show everyone what a unifier does. He says one side will say Day One. The other side will say douchebag.
It slows down and Rock says that was fun. He says if Jinder loves the National Anthem so much, he will sing a verse for you Jinder.
Jinder punches and kicks Rock. Jinder takes off his jacket and Rock with punches and he gives Jinder a spinebuster. Rock with a people’s elbow.
Rock says he loves San Diego and wishes everyone a Happy New Year.
Rock says he is going to go get something to eat and he asks if he should sit in a booth, at the bar, or the head of the table.

Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark vs. Natalya and Tegan Nox
Natalya with an arm drag to Zoey and Zoey misses a splash. Natalya with a slingshot atomic drop and Tegan tags in. She sends Zoey into the turnbuckles and Natalya tags in. Shayna tags in and Zoey trips Natalya. Shayna with a kick for a near fall. Shayna stomps on the elbow. Shayna with a knee and Zoey tags in. Zoey with a twisting senton for a near fall. Zoey with a reverse chin lock. Nattie with a snap mare but Zoey sends Nattie back into the turnbuckles. Shayna tags in and punches Nattie. Shayna with a snap mare and kick to teh back for a near fall. Shayna with a hammer lock and she pulls Nattie to the mat when Nattie tries to make the tag. Nattie with an arm drag but Shayna runs Nattie into the turnbuckles and tags in Zoey.
Zoey with kicks and Shayna tags in for more kicks. Zoey tags in and kicks Nattie. Shayna tags in for more kicks. Nattie with a forearm to Zoey and kicks to Shayna. Nattie tries to go through Shayna’s legs to make the tag but Shayna stops her. Nattie kicks Shayna away and tags in Tegan. Tegan with a clothesline and punches. Tegan with clotheslines to Shayna followed by a running European uppercut to Zoey. Tegan with a head butt and gourdbuster.
Candice and Indi watch in LOCKER ROOM on MONITOR.
Tegan with a running back senton in the corner. Tegan gets a near fall. Shayna avoids the Shiniest Wizard and Shayna misses a kick. Shayna with a knee and Nattie breaks up the cover. Zoey kicks Nattie to the floor. Zoey tags in and Shayna with a German Suplex followed by Z360 for the three count.

Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins for the World Championship
After tons of videos mostly recapping how Drew McIntyre turned heel, we are finally ready to go.
Seth with a running boot and punches. The referee pulls Seth out of the corner. Drew with a kick and chop followed by punches. Seth with a kick to the chest and he sends Drew over the top rope to the floor. Seth with a forearm off the ring steps. Drew with a forearm and he sends Seth into the announce table and he hot shots Seth on the table. Drew goes for a reverse Alabama Slam onto the steps but Seth holds on to the ropes and skins the cat. Seth with a kick through the ropes. Drew catches Seth on a suicide dive and Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. Drew sends Seth into the ring steps. Drew with punches to Seth. Drew with a chop in the corner.
Drew with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Drew with a boot to the head. Drew ties up Seth in the ropes and he connects with forearms across the chest to mock Sheamus. The referee checks on Seth in the corner. Drew presses Seth’s face against the ring post. Seth with punches and he gets on the ropes but Drew drops Seth on the top rope and he gets a near fall. Drew with a chop. Seth chops back and Drew establishes the exchange. Drew with a Dragon chop to send Seth to the mat. Drew with punches. Seth with punches to Drew but Drew hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Drew gets Seth on his shoulders and he climbs the turnbuckles.
Seth counters a Super Air Raid Crash and Seth sets for a sunset flip into a buckle bomb. Seth with a suplex and he sends Drew shoulder first into the ring post when Drew charges into the corner. Seth with a flip dive onto Drew. Seth sends Drew into the ring and he sets for a suplex but Drew blocks it. Drew goes for a suplex but Seth gets to his feet after a knee. Seth with a tornado DDT and he goes up top. Seth with a frog splash for a near fall. Seth sets for a quebrada but Drew moves and Seth lands on his feet. Drew is sent to the apron. Drew with a punch. Drew goes up top and Seth stops him and hits a superplex but when he goes for the Falcon Arrow, Drew counters with a suplex of his own for a near fall.
Drew with a punch and Seth hangs in the ropes. Drew gets Seth on his shoulders but Seth gets to his feet and he hits a super kick. Drew with a reverse Alabama Slam for a near fall. Drew with an Irish whip and clothesline. Drew puts Seth on the turnbuckles. Drew sets for a superplex and Seth blocks it. Seth with punches to the leg and hip. Seth with forearms to the back and then he rakes the back. Drew with a forearm to Seth on the turnbuckles. Drew with punches and Seth with a punch. Drew with a super Air Raid Crash for a near fall. Drew with a chop and Seth chops back. They exchange more chops and Seth with an enzuigiri and thrust kick to the knee. Seth with a super kick.
Seth misses Black Out and Drew hits Future Shock. Drew looks around to prepare for a Claymore. Drew runs into a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Seth pulls Drew into position and he goes up top for a Phoenix Splash but Drew moves and Seth lands on his feet and rolls through. Drew misses a Claymore. Seth wtih a super kick and Pedigree for a near fall.
Damian Priest’s music plays and he comes to the ring with Dominik Mysterio and a referee.
Priest hits Seth with the briefcase while new ref is distracted by second ref. Drew with a Claymore to Priest and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Dom.
Drew with a Claymore and Seth’s foot is on the rope. Drew sends Seth into the ropes and he removes the hood on the announce table. Drew puts Seth on the announce table. Drew sets for a tombstone but Seth wtih a kick and Pedigree onto the announce table. Seth sends Drew back into the ring and Seth with Black Out for the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins
