During an interview with Kevin Undergaro of AfterBuzz TV, Mone was seen without a walking boot, suggesting that she is progressing well in her recovery and getting closer to an in-ring return.
Mone also mentioned AEW’s upcoming event in Los Angeles, hinting at the possibility of her showing up, although she didn’t have specific details about the date. She mentioned being busy and traveling a lot, indicating that she needs to assess her schedule before deciding when and where to make her return.
“I got to see. I got to check the schedule. I know we’re really busy. We’re doing a lot of things. Traveling a lot and see where I want to put my stuff.”
It’s worth noting that Mercedes Mone was in attendance at the AEW All In event at Wembley Stadium, and there is an expectation that once she is medically cleared from her surgery, she will make appearances in AEW. Originally, there was a belief among those in AEW that she would have debuted during the TD Garden Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, if she hadn’t been injured.
As of now, the only confirmed match for AEW Full Gear is MJF defending the World Heavyweight Title against Jay White, with more matches likely to be announced as the event draws closer.
