Lance Anoa’i Requests MLW Release – Lance Anoa’i has made a request for his release from Major League Wrestling (MLW), as reported by Fightful Select. However, his request for release from MLW has not yet been approved.
Lance Anoa’i, hailing from the legendary Samoan wrestling lineage, has been absent from MLW television for a while now. Instead, he has been actively working for Pro Wrestling NOAH. Notably, his name was absent from MLW’s most recent online roster update, and he has not appeared in any MLW events since July. Currently, he is not scheduled for any future MLW shows.
According to the report by Fightful Select, MLW had some initial issues with Anoa’i at the start of 2023, which they were seeking to address. However, as of now, Anoa’i remains firm in his desire to part ways with the company.
It’s worth mentioning that Lance Anoa’i is not the only wrestler within MLW looking to secure a release from their contract. As previously noted, Alex Hammerstone has also made a request to be released from Major League Wrestling.
Lance Anoa’i has recently voiced his interest in WWE and has even mentioned that he sees himself as a potential member of The Bloodline faction.
