Judgment Day Wins Undisputed WWE Tag Titles Thanks to Jimmy Uso – In the main event of the RAW’s Season Premiere on October 16, The Judgment Day, consisting of Finn Balor and Damian Priest, recaptured the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. They faced the defending champions, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, in a thrilling match where both teams put on an impressive display of skill and determination.
During the match, Dominik Mysterio, a member of The Judgment Day, interfered, helping his stablemates gain control. However, Sami Zayn made his way to the ring to even the odds. Ultimately, a late arrival turned the tide in favor of the challengers.
After Damian Priest delivered a powerful slam, sending Cody Rhodes through the broadcast table, Jey Uso was left to fend for himself. He fought valiantly but was superkicked by Jimmy Uso, who interfered on behalf of The Judgment Day. This interference allowed Finn Balor to execute the Coup de Grace and secure the victory.
With this win, Damian Priest and Finn Balor reclaimed the tag team titles for the second time. Their previous reign ended when Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated them at WWE Fastlane on October 7. The loss marked the conclusion of Rhodes and Uso’s inaugural reign as tag team champions, which lasted only nine days. During their short reign, they successfully defended the titles twice on WWE TV.
