The Authors Of Pain Returning To WWE?

Spoiler Update on The Authors of Pain’s WWE Comeback – The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) along with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering may be making their return to WWE this week, specifically to the NXT brand.

Rumors of their potential return started circulating within WWE three weeks ago and gained traction during last Tuesday’s tapings. Initially, it was expected that they would make appearances in September, but it now appears they could be returning as early as this week.

As of now, Paul Ellering is already in Orlando, which is where NXT is taped. While there is no confirmation that The Authors of Pain have arrived yet, it’s likely that they will be joining Ellering soon.

The intention behind their return is to bolster the NXT tag team division, which is currently led by Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo as NXT Tag Team Champions. Other tag teams in the division include The Creed Brothers, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, The Dyad, Gallus, Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, among others.

The Authors of Pain are former NXT Tag Team Champions and RAW Tag Team Champions and will bring their hard-hitting style and dominant presence back to the black-and-gold brand.
