Drew McIntyre Talks WWE Contract Negotiations – Drew McIntyre’s future with WWE remains uncertain, but he is currently focused on his present commitments with the company. In an interview with the Hindustan Times during his visit to India for WWE Superstar Spectacle, McIntyre addressed questions about his future in WWE.
McIntyre acknowledged that he reads internet rumors and speculation about his future in WWE but emphasized that his primary focus is on the present. He stated that he doesn’t look too far into the future or dwell on the past, instead concentrating on giving his best performance in the present.
“I mean, I keep reading the internet myself. I just saw something earlier. The internet keeps talking about my future, I guess. But my focus is on the here and now like I don’t look to the future, I don’t look to the past, I look to the present. And my job right now is just making sure we give everybody in Hyderabad the best show possible and I’ll continue to give the best performance I can give at every show and I can see I don’t plan to be anywhere else. That’s as much as I can give,” he said.
The Scottish Warrior recently took a hiatus from WWE following WrestleMania 39, during which he reportedly had creative frustrations and was negotiating a new WWE deal set to expire next year. He made a comeback at Money in the Bank and has since been involved in feuds, including a rivalry with GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title. Currently, McIntyre is aligned with Matt Riddle on WWE RAW.
While Drew McIntyre’s WWE future remains uncertain, fans can expect him to continue giving his best in every performance as he remains committed to the company at the moment.
