WWE Makes Slight Name Change for Bronson Reed – A recent report from PWInsider highlights that Reed is now being referred to as “Big Bronson Reed” within WWE, and this change has been officially adopted as his new ring name going forward.
This shift parallels WWE’s approach with other wrestlers, such as adopting the moniker “Seth Freakin’ Rollins” for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Notably, in his most recent appearance, Reed experienced a loss to Shinsuke Nakamura during the 8/7 RAW episode.
After more than a year of absence from WWE, Bronson Reed made a significant comeback to the company in December. During his time away, Reed made a substantial impact on the international wrestling scene, particularly in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), where he adopted the moniker ‘JONAH.’
During his tenure in NJPW, Reed became a prominent figure and participated in several high-profile matches, notably facing off against legendary wrestler Kazuchika Okada. His performances in NJPW received critical acclaim, showcasing his versatility and ability to hold his own against top-tier opponents.
In addition to his stint with NJPW, Bronson Reed also had a brief period with IMPACT Wrestling earlier in 2022.
