Undisputed Tag Team Title Match Confirmed for WWE Payback – At WWE Payback, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are set to defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Bálor. The upcoming match was announced on the August 28 episode of WWE RAW.
The rivalry between The Judgment Day and Owens-Zayn has been building for weeks. Owens was targeted and attacked by The Judgment Day in July, causing him to take time off. However, he made a comeback on the August 21 episode of WWE RAW.
On the same episode, Priest and Bálor secured a victory against the reigning champions, albeit via disqualification. Priest then went on to defeat Zayn on the August 28 episode after assistance from JD McDonagh.
The updated WWE Payback card includes this championship match, along with other scheduled bouts:
