RAW – WWE Draft Night 2 Results (5/1) – This week’s WWE RAW begins with a recap of Friday’s WWE Draft on SmackDown.
We are live from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX, as Triple H makes his way to the stage for the first round of Draft Picks.
Hunter says it is loud in the building tonight. He welcomes everyone to Raw and the draft. Hunter says things got a little crazy on Friday and tonight will be no different. Hunter reminds us of the rules for the draft. Hunter announces that with Roman Reigns on Smackdown, the World Champion will be determined from the Raw roster.
Hunter mentions one person is not eligible to be drated tonight and that is Brock Lesnar. Brock is now a free agent and he can appear on any brand at any time.
Hunter mentions that some NXT wrestlers are eligibile and the new rosters are effective next Monday.
Draft Picks – Round 6

After the picks, Triple H introduces the wiseman of The Bloodline, Paul Heyman. The two shake hands as Triple H leaves and Heyman heads to the ring.
Paul says he wanted to discuss a few things and he says with his wisdom, he comes number one. Him, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns have been drafted to Smackdown. Tonight is to determine the fate of the Usos. The Usos, who did NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT win back the tag titles on Friday from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Paul says he will address that with the Usos in private. The Usos will address their problems on Saturday at Backlash as they team with the problem solver named Solo against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Matt Riddle.
One week from Friday, on Smackdown, hopefully anywhere but in the state of Texas, Roman Reigns will take care of all business items. One of them is that hunk of gold on that podium. Paul asks if that title would look relevant around the waist of Roman Reigns? Almost 1,000 days into an historic reign and not just one or two titles, but three titles. You create a championship and Roman will dominate that title to Wrestlemania. Roman cannot compete for that title because he won’t be on Raw.
Now the children who think they are men are running around flapping their gums about Roman Reigns. People who should know better. Men who need to act like men. Men who are freakin’ jokes. Men who are freakin’ jokes. Men who are freakin’ clowns…
The freakin’ limits have been reached and Seth Rollins’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring in his see through Jeff Jarrett “With My Baby Tonight” outfit.
Seth waits for the crowd to stop humming and he cackles. Seth says it is good to see Paul and asks why the long face. Seth says today has to be Christmas to you. Roman is on Smackdown and Seth says he stays on Raw. Now, Roman doesn’t have to run from him any more. You don’t have to waste all that energy pulling strings to make sure he doesn’t get a title match. You can use that energy to make sure the Bloodline doesn’t go poof in your face.
Seth asks Paul if he likes a good spoiler. Seth says at Night of Champions he is going to win the World Championship. Then the world will see what a real champion looks like.
Paul is on the phone and Seth gets the crowd to hum along to make it hard for Paul to hear the call.
Paul yells at the people since he cannot hear Roman and they get louder.
Paul tells Seth that he is pissing off Roman and Seth says if Roman is upset with him now, wait until this. Seth asks how long would it take to get Paul flat on the mat so he can stomp Paul’s head into the canvas? Five seconds? Four seconds? Three seconds? Two seconds?
Solo Sikoa’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Paul says he has a spoiler and all strings are being pulled, but the time we get back from commercial, it will be official that Seth Rollins faces Solo Sikoa.
Seth says we don’t have to wait to make it official. Seth says they are on and he cackles.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and we see Cody Rhodes arriving at the arena and Adam Pearce begs Cody not to let things devolve into chaos.
– We see the Raw door and the Smackdown door and the Raw one has a red light tube over the door while the Smackdown one has a blue light tube.
– We see the NXT roster in Orlando.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Dakota Kai and Bayley
Dakota and Raquel start things off but Liv decides to start the match. They lock up and Liv with a rollup for a near fall. Dakota with a rollup for a near fall. Liv misses an enzuigiri and Kai with a waist lock. Liv with a rollup for a near fall. Liv with a drop kick and Dakota sends Liv into the ropes. Bayley tags in and she slams Liv. Liv misses an elbow drop and Raquel tags in. Bayley escapes a slam attempt and she slaps Bayley but Raquel runs Bayley into the corner. Liv tags in and Raquel tosses Liv into Bayley and Liv sends Raquel into the corner with a head scissors for a shoulder. Liv with a knee into the corner. Dakota distract the referee and Bayley rakes the eyes and sends Liv to the floor. Dakota with a kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dakota with a running boot in the corner for a near fall. Dakota kicks Liv in the corner. Liv with a boot to Dakota and she knocks Bayley off the apron. Liv leaps over Dakota but Dakota stops Liv from making the tag. Dakota with a forearm and Liv grabs Dakota but Dakota with a kick. Raquel tags in and she clotheslines Dakota a few times. Raquel with another clothelsine followed by a fallaway slam. Raquel splashes Bayley when Bayley pushes Dakota out of the way. Raquel with a fallaway slam to Dakota and a twisting Vader Bomb elbow for a near fall. Liv tags in and gets on Raquel’s shoulders but Bayley trips Raquel and Liv lands on Dakota’s knees. Dakota with KAIropractor for a near fall.
Raquel sends Bayley to the apron and Bayley holds Raquel who is hit by Dakota with aknee. Liv with a facebuster and Bayley tags in. Liv hits ObLIVion on Dakota but Bayley with a sunset flip for the three count.
Winners: Dakota Kai and Bayley
– Booker T leaves the Raw room and he spins in the hallway. His wife Sharmell emerges from the Smackdown room.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and we see Cowboy Brock walking in the back and Adam Pearce asks him to keep things peaceful. Brock tells Adam good luck with that. We then take a look at what led to the match between Brock and Cody.

Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. Alpha Academy
We are back and Alpha Academy is out, accompanied by Maxxine Dupri.
Chad and Ricochet start things off and Ricochet with a wrist lock and Gable with an escape and leg sweep. Ricochet with a leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Chad with a chop and Ricochet with a handstand head scissors and drop kick. Gable with a waist lock and Gable with a German suplex but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet goes to the apron and connects with a kick and then he springboard over Gable. Gable with Chaos Theory. Otis and Braun tag in and Otis pushes Braun and Otis with punches and a splash into the corner. Bruan with a clothesline to Otis in the corner and then he runs through a clothesline and hits a cross body. Braun gets Otis up for a slam.
Ricochet tags in and he gets on Braun’s shoulders for a swanton and the three count.
Winners: Ricochet and Braun Strowman
– Shawn Michaels comes out of the Raw room. Adam Pearce emerges from the Smackdown room.

– We have a video package for the Damian Priest and Bad Bunny street fight on Saturday.
Draft Picks – Round 8
Shawn Michaels and Adam Pearce make their way to the stage for round 8:
HBK is now announcing the RAW pick but Brock Lesnar interrrupts and makes his way to the ring.
Brock asks Fort Worth how does it feel to talk to the only real cowboy in the state. Adam tells Brock he cannot do this tonight. They have business to talk and draft talk trumps everything. Security comes to ringside and they point at Brock to tell him to get out of the ring. Brock says it will take more men than that. Adam calls in the JV security squad and they wave their arms as well.
Cody’s music plays and he comes from behind the announce table and he attacks Brock.
Security grabs Cody and Brock gets out of the ring and into the aisle. Cody tries to get out of the ring but he is held back by security unit one. Security Seal Team Two stands in front of Brock holding out their arms. Brock backs up while Security Seal Team One holds Cody. Meanwhile, Shawn stands at the Draft podium.

Back from the break and after some “moments ago”, we are finally ready for our next picks.

12. SmackDown Selects The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland & Butch)
– Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are in the backc and Matt Riddle shows up. Riddle says this has been the greatest week. You retained your titles on Friday and we are all drafted to Raw so they can hang out. Riddle says he is going to beat Jimmy Uso. Kevin yells at Sami about Riddle wanting to hang out with them.
Matt Riddle (with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn) vs. Jimmy Uso (with Jey Uso)
Riddle with punches and a kick to Jimmy but Jey with an enzuigiri to Riddle from the apron. Jimmy kicks Riddle and Kevin gets in Jey’s face and then he goes down and Sami tosses a chair to Jey. The referee didn’t see any of it but since they are in Texas, this is being fought under Guerrero rules and Jey is sent to the back for doing absolutely nothing.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Riddle with punches but Jimmy with a Samoan drop for a near fall. Riddle with forearms and punches. Riddle with strikes and a boot to the chest followed by a Pele Kick. Riddle with running forearms into the corner. Riddle with an exploder. Jimmy gets his knees up on a back senton. Riddle goes to the turnbuckles and Jimmy sends Riddle to the floor. Jimmy with a super kick to Owens and they return to the ring. Riddle tries for a knee but Jimmy with a dragon whip and a super kick for a near fall. Jimmy gets another near fall. The referee holds Jimmy back to check on the referee. Jimmy removes the turnbuckle pad and Sami gets on the apron. Kevin sends Jimmy into the turnbuckles and then Riddle with a knee to the back and a twisting moonsault for the three count.
Winner: Matt Riddle
– We have a video package for Iyo Sky. Iyo says she bows down to no one. Iyo says she will be the next Raw Women’s Champion.
– Eric Bischoff emerges from the Raw room while Rob Van Dam is at the Smackdown door and he is greeted by Elias and Rick Boogs.
Back to commercial.
– We are back and we are reminded that Brock Lesnar is a free agent. (along with Omos, Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, and Von Wagner)
Backstage:
Paul tells Solo to take care of this clown and and Roman wants him to do things. Jey Uso shows up and wonders why his brother was not at ringside. Paul says that Solo has been recruited to exterminate a clown so he needs to focus. Paul asks Solo to go to the hall to let Jey have the room for himself.

The Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV and he talks about the IC title being back on Raw. He says he was the biggest pick for Raw. Miz brings out his guest, a man who has been drafted to Raw. He brings out Shinsuke Nakamura.
Miz welcomes Nakamura to Raw. He runs through Nakamura’s accomplishments. He asks Nakamura if he thinks he has a chance at the World Title.
Nakamura answers in Japanese and Miz thinks he is saying hi.
Miz says that when Hunter said they needed a workhorse champion they were talking about him. He says Nakamura could be a great number two. They can combine their efforts and Nakamura looks confused. Miz says things are different on Raw than Smackdown. He says you need someone to have your back and who better than Miz.
Nakamura thanks Miz and he says Miz has more experience than him, but Nakamura says Miz is the King of Chisai Kintama. Miz asks what does it mean and Miz thinks it means awesome, but Nakamura tells him it means tiny balls.
Miz tries to hit Nakamura but he misses and Nakamura with a kick and Kinshasa.
– Omos and MVP walk in the back while the cameraman slides on the floor to get the proper angle of how tall Omos is.
We go to commercial.
Omos vs. Anthony Alanis
Alanis with punches as the bell rings followed by a punch. He kicks Omos but Omos blocks an Irish whip. Omos with snake eyes and a running boot. Omos with a vertical choke slam for the three count.
Winner: Omos
– We look at last week’s announcement of the World Championship.
– We go to the Raw door and Molly Holly emerges. The Smackdown door is populated by Road Dogg.

The Judgment Day make their way to the ring and they have something to say.
Priest wants everyone to rise for THE Judgment Day who are staying on Raw. He wants everyone to rise for the first draft pick from tonight, Rhea Ripley.
Rhea asks if there was any doubt who the first pick would be. She says Mami is always on top. You thought you could get rid of us? We run Raw. On Saturday, Zelina will regret everything she has done when she pretzels her and she reminds everyone how dominant she is.
Finn says that Rhea is going to take care of Zelina. Damian is going to destroy Bad Bunny.
Priest tells Bunny he wants him to listen to his words carefully. He says he chooses them carefully. He speaks in Spanish and he gets a bit worked up. He said something like “Bunny you are a great music star but inside this ring I’m the best”
Dom says he can’t wait until Mami and Priest dominate at Backlash. Just like they will dominate Santos, Zelina, and his deadbeat dad. Since the LWO is going to Smackdown, this will be the last time he gets to embarrass his dad and loser friends before they go to Smackdown.
Rey says no one is running or hiding anywhere. They were selected by Smackdown to compete on Friday. That is how the draft works. He says he is glad they are not going to be on the same brand. If you thought getting whooped at Wrestlemania with a belt was bad, wait until next time. He says he cannot wait to see Zelina leave Puerto Rico with Rhea’s belt around her waist. He says he is looking forward to seeing Bad Bunny beat Damian Priest and anyone stupid enough to get in his way. The Judgment Day is going to be smashed by the LWO.

Rey Mysterio, Zelina Vega, and Santos Escobar vs. Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley
Rey and Dom start off in the ring but Rhea tags in and she wants a piece of Rey. Rhea pie faces Rey and Rey helps Zelina with a head scissors. Rhea with a kick to Zelina and she goes for RipTide but Zelina counters for a guillotine. Zelina escapes a suplex and hits a jaw breaker. Priest tags in and Santos comes in and hits a flying forearm. Santos with a running double knee strike. Santos with punches and chops. Santos with kicks to Priest and Priest with a forearm and Santos goes down hard. Priest hits Rey on the apron. Priest goes for a springboard kick but Santos with a jumping knee. Santos with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on Dom and then Rey tags in and hits a seated splash off the apron onto Priest.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Priest with clotheslines to Santos in the corner. Santos with a drop kick and both men are down. Rey and Dom tag in and Rey with punches and a satellite head scissors and punches in the corner. Dom escapes and Rey with a kick and a springboard cross body for a near fall. Rhea breaks up the cover and then she punches Zelina. Rhea gets Rey up on her shoudlers and tries to press slam Rey but Zelina with a Tiger Feint kick to the midsection. Zelina sends Rhea to the floor. Dom with a drop kick and Priest tags in and misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post. Rey drop kicks Priest into the ropes and he sets for the 619 but Finn distracts the referee by getting in the ring and Dom trips Rey.
Santos with a suicde dive to Dom. Rhea with a drop kick to Santos. Zelina with meteora to Rhea. Rey sends Priest into the ropes and Finn takes the 619. Priest with South fo Heaven for the three count.
Winners: Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley
Backstage:
Cathy Kelley stops Cody as he leaves the building. She asks if Brock is in his head. Cody says Brock is in his head and Brock has been in his head since the night after Wrestlemania. Brock negotiated a free agent status. Brock gets what he wants. It won’t happen at Backlash. Cody says we found out that Brock is human. He doesn’t need to win the match on Saturday. Cody says he has to win on Saturday or the whole idea of finishing the story ceases to exist. Then he moves to the back of the line and he refuses to go to the back of the line. He will never go to the back fo the line.

Backstage:
We are back and Byron Saxton is with Bianca Belair. She is asked about being drafted to Smackdown. Bianca says it doesn’t matter what brand you are on, as long as she can represent the brand to the best of her abilities. She is going to retain the title on Saturday.
The Bayley Bunch shows up and Bayley asks why is Byron interviewing Bianca. Bayley says they are going to be the next tag team champions and Iyo is going to beat Bianca. Bianca says she respects Iyo and she was looking forward to seeing what she was going to do after SummerSlam. She joined up with two people who are not giving her a chance. She hopes Iyo will shine after she beats her at Backlash. Iyo tells Bianca stuff in Japanese. Bianca says Dakota doesn’t need to translate because they understand each other.

– We are back with a graphic look at the new WWE Raw roster. We are also told that he rest of the draft picks will be made on Raw Talk. Our official Draft Page will be updated during the show.
Solo Sikoa vs. Seth Rollins
Seth avoids Solo and poses on the turnbuckles. They lock up and Solo backs Seth into the corner and Solo misses a punch on the break. They lock up and Solo with a side head lock and Seth goes through the ropes and Solo follows but Seth gets back in the ring before Solo can do anything. They continue to play cat and mouse and Solo gets frustrated. Solo with a kick and head butt. Solo with punches to Seth. Seth with chops and punches to Solo. Solo goes over the top rope when Seth drops down. Seth with a kick through the ropes and he sets for a suicide dive but Solo gets back in the ring and hits a spinning heel kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Solo gets Seth on his shoulders but Seth escapes and hits an enzuigiri. Solo misses a splash into the corner and hits the ring post after Seth moves. Seth with chops and punches. Seth with punches to Solo against the ropes. Seth with a forearm and a short arm clothesline but Solo stays on his feet. Seth with a second one with the same result. Solo goes for a uranage but Seth with elbows and a discus clothesline. Solo rolls to the floor. Seth sets for a suicide dive and he connects and sends Solo into the announce table. Seth with a second one and the same result. Seth goes for the hat trick and Solo hits the table one more time.
Seth sends Solo back into the ring and Solo avoids a springboard move and hits a Samoan drop for a near fall.
Paul is on the phone from ringside.
Solo sets for a uranage but Seth escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Seth with a super kick. Solo avoids a rolling elbow and Solo with a uranage for a near fall. Seth slaps Solo and Seth asks Solo if that is it or if he is Roman’s bitch. Solo with a uranage and punches. The referee warns Solo and then Solo goes after the referee. Seth goes to the floor and Solo follows. Solo sends Seth into the announce table and then he gets Seth up but Seth gets to his feet and sends Solo into the ring post. Seth with a super kick and then Jimmy and Jey go after Seth and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Seth Rollins (by disqualification)
After the bell, The Usos continue assisting Sikoa but Matt Riddle and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens immediately run down to make the save as the Backlash go-home and Draft Night 2 edition of RAW goes off the air.
