Jeff Hardy Returns On AEW Dynamite – In the second hour of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, there was a segment with Matt Hardy and Ethan Page. Matt said that a contract was signed that stated that if Hook defeated Ethan then Matt and Private Party are no longer under contract to The Firm.
Big Bill and Lee Moriarty ran out to attack Matt and Isiah Kassidy but Hook went out to make the save but he was overwhelmed by the numbers until Jeff ran out with a chair. He also hit the Swanton Bomb and then hugged his brother.
Hardy had been absent from AEW since June 2022, when he was arrested for DUI. Hardy was suspended indefinitely, and he was permitted to return upon completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety. The DUI case was closed in February 2023. Matt hardy has consistently praised his brother for working to improve himself during his time away.
